Karma's POV
Karma watched Y/N laying on the couch while her family was busy making dinner. He was sipping the tea that Akio had made. Y/N looked happy laying on the couch. Karma slightly smiled at Y/N and looked back into the kitchen. A few minutes later, Y/N shifted on the couch causing Karma to look back her. He stared at her sleeping form, absorbed by her beauty. Her dad walked over and sat down beside him. He leaned his arms on his knees and also watched Y/N.
"Thanks for coming to save her. And bringing her back of course." His deep voice calmly echoed in the room.
"It's my pleasure, sir. Its the least I could do for her." Karma replied, taking his gaze off of Y/N and looking at his hands. Y/N's dad noticed this and looked at Karma. Y/N's dad secretly thought that these two were in love.
"Sir, I am in love with your daughter." And there was the confirmation on Karma's part. Derick sighed and rubbed his temples. He stood up and motioned for Karma to follow him. Derick went into his home office and sat down in his chair and Karma sat down in another chair.
They stared at eachother, neither one of them backing down. Finally, Derick spoke up.
"For what reasons do you love my daughter?"
"Well, here's the thing. She's smart, skilled, talented, and even strong at fighting. She can be goofy at times and yet serious at another time. Shes got the perfect combinations anyone could ever ask for." Karma replied truthfully, leaving out the part of how sexy she looked but he didn't want to die just yet.
"Hmm.. valid reasons. And why should I let you date her?" Derick asked him.
Karma slightly huffed, not knowing what to say to him. "Well, I'll be there for her in her darkest and happiest moments and I will protect her with every fiber in my body. I want her to be the happiest girl alive and I am willing to do that for her sake."
Derick turned his chair around as he hid his teary eyes from Karma. Derick was reminding of his younger days of when he was courting Y/N's mother.
Finally, he turned back to Karma with a serious look. "Fine, I will give you a chance with her as long as you don't hurt her. If you do, expect a thousand men after your head."
Karma seemed unfazed although he was slightly scared inside. "Yes sir. And thank you for your permission." They both nodded at each other and left the office.
Y/N was still sleeping on the couch but was starting to slightly wake up. Akio called all of them to the table where Lex and Jammy were already fighting with each other.
Y/N sighed and sat down in her usual spot. Karma sat down beside her and gently took her hand under the table, causing her to blush as she looked at him. He winked at her and put some food on their plates.
Akio and Derick had noticed the two young lovebirds and smiled at each other. Dinner went smoothly as small talk was made and further plans were made.
After dinner, Lex brought up a question which was necessary. "So, where is mom and Karma going to sleep tonight?" Everyone looked at each other.
Derick was the first to speak up. "Well, Karma for sure isn't sleeping in Y/N's room tonight. And Akio can sleep with me." He was slightly blushing towards the end.
Y/N slightly slammed her hands on the table and raised herself. "If Karma can't sleep with me, then Akio can't sleep with you. Why don't you and Karma sleep together and Akio and I will sleep together?"
Karma's and Derick's faces flashed with horror as they looked at each other. Akio giggled as she felt more comfortable sleeping with Y/N.
Karma shakily spoke up. "I can sleep on the couch. Thats fine with me." Derick nodded with his statement, allowing it this one time.
Akio and Y/N went to get some bed sheets ready for Karma as the men sat at the table. Karma looked at the other men and brought up his question. "Where will Lex sleep?"
Jammy and Lex seemed slightly offended that he was already picking up their nicknames that the beloved Y/N gave them. While they were cussing Karma out in their heads, Derick spoke for them. "They sleep in the same room ever since they were friends."
Karma smirked and looked at them, quietly staring into their souls. They shivered slightly as they got uncomfortable with his gaze on them.
Y/N and Akio came back a few minutes later and started setting up his bed for him. Jammy and Lex were forced to give some of their old clothes to Karma.
Soon, everyone went their way to their respective beds. Akio and Y/N softly giggled as the guys grumbled about their own things. Y/N fell asleep pretty quickly on her bed that she was sharing with Akio.
Karma was laying on the couch, staring at the ceiling that was so far away from him. He wondered what Y/N was doing. The night wasn't proving to be kind to him at all due to him tossing and turning on the couch. The couch itself wasn't the problem, but his brain was.
He felt something crawling on top of him and it scared him to the point that he almost screamed. However, once he heard some soft mumbling, he understood that it was Y/N. She was laying on top of him with her head on his chest. He slowly pet her head as he suddenly felt drowsy.
They both slept like that, his hand on her head and her hugging him as best as she could.
