Chapter 19

Y/N's POV

I heard Karma close the door and erupted into a massive blush. Dumb Bakabane making me feel this way. Now there's no way I'll be able to sleep now. I rub my hands over my face and then crawl out of bed to wash my face in the bathroom. I saw the blush and mentally scowled at Karma and suddenly remembered that he kissed my forehead. My hand, subconsciously, went up to feel where he kissed me. I felt myself blushing when my mind replayed when I kissed his cheek for the second time.  I splashed water on my face. I then ran and jumped into bed.

Few days later

I walked into class exhausted from studying all night. Normally, I would be able to easily pull an all-nighter when it came to studying and playing video games. But, since I was still on painkillers for the wounds, it made me sleepy and I had to study for a test today. 

I plopped into my seat beside Karma's and laid my head down for a quick shut eye. Little did I know that I slept through the whole day.  Test and all. I ran into the teachers lounge to feel a jacket or something fall off my back. I turned around to see Karma's sweater on the ground. I softly smiled as I picked up the sweater and held it to my chest like a prize. I remembered where I was going before the sweater distracted me and I ran. 

I knocked before entering the lounge to see baffled teachers. They were arguing amongst themselves and I couldnt make out what they were arguing about. Koro-Sensei was the first to notice me staring at them confused. Karasuma was the first to speak in this case now.

"Is there anything you need, L/N-chan?" -Karasuma

"Umm...is it possible for me to do today's test now?" -Y/N

The teachers now looked at each other confused. Irina now spoke.

"Y/N-chan, your English test is tomorrow. There were no tests scheduled for today. Are you sure you aren't sick?" -Irina

I stared at them all confused and looked at my watch that was one day ahead for some reason. My thoughts were already killing Jammy and Lex. I rubbed my head sheepishly and bowed.

"I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Please excuse me and good bye Senseis."-Y/N

I walked out and let out a sigh of relief and walked outside, into the setting sun. Red, orange, and yellow hues painted the sky and the red stood out to me since it reminded me of a certain someone whose sweater was in my arms. I was walking down the last steps from the hill when I heard a whistle. I looked in the direction and saw three 3-B guys checking me out.  I rolled my eyes and continued walking home. Not five seconds later, I hear a crash behind me and the shrieks of three guys. I look back to see Karma, a small blush quickly rising to my cheeks. Karma had whispered something to the three guys and they nodded their heads so quickly, it caused a blur. He smirked at them as they scurried away. 

I was sort of a daze watching Karma approaching me. His smirk always curled up on his left cheek and his amber eyes danced with glee. There was also something in his eyes that I couldn't pinpoint. Was it lo---

"Take a picture, its gonna last longer."-Karma

"Sorry, don't need one. I got two squawking all about you at home. They seem to like you very much and describe you accurately, point to point." -Y/N

"Oh really? How do they describe me?" At this time, Karma had started walking somewhere and I just blindly tagged along as I described to him how Jammy and Lex thought of him.

"Well, they say that you're a son of a devil. Or maybe even the devil himself.  They are practically bringing out all of your nice points and bringing it to the life. Oh, they actually look like they might piss themselves when they say you're sadistic." -Y/N

Karma laughed as we neared an empty park and we entered. I hadn't noticed this but I was holding Karma's sweater this whole time still pressed to me. I blushed slightly as I sat down on a swing. I thought about giving him his sweater back but decided to steal it from under his nose. After all, that's what friends do, right? Karma started filling me in on what happened today. Apparently, I missed the whole new transfer student's grand entrance and him swearing to beat me while i was sleeping. Real nice one dude. And I also missed the fight but so had Karma since he took me to the base during the fight. He later then brought me back and left me to sleep.

I then told him how I rushed to the teachers lounge and all being confused and wanting to murder Jammy and Lex for changing my schedule one whole day ahead. We laughed and I looked down at my watch and told Karma that I had to go home and he also said that he had to go. We started walking away from each other and I suddenly felt the need to hold him one last time for today. I suddenly turned and ran towards him. He heard me running towards him so he stopped and turned to be tackled by me. We tumbled into the grass and rolled a few times before we stopped and I was sitting on his stomach. My hands were on his chest as his hands were on my waist. His right leg was bended into a triangle and the other leg was straight on the ground. Ours hearts were beating fast, our faces a bit on the redder side. I noticed a small blade of grass on Karma's nose. I gently brushed it off and he sat up carefully. I was still trapped in the position I was in. My blush was getting redder by the passing seconds. I felt Karma's cool fingers caress my face and suddenly pull me in for a hug. I hugged him back before my cell-phone rang. I looked at the caller-ID and saw it was Jammy. I declined the call and pecked Karma's  cheek with a kiss before running home and calling a goodbye over my shoulder.

As I was running home, I thought to myself. I wonder why Karma only shows me his sweet side. I guess he told me during the Kyoto trip. I rounded the corner and continued running. I was approaching my house and I thought of something.

  I am becoming addicted to this sweet devil called Karma Akabane.
