Daniel's Visit

     Daniel decided that maybe he had gotten off on the wrong foot. Although he was a bit of a jerk to Kylie or whatever that espeon's name was, he was a little sorry. He thought that at least he could try making his day a little better if he gave Darkness a visit. 

     On his way there, he saw that Dark actually lived in a regular home. It surprised him, due to how he expected him to go trying to flaunt his wealth. Talk about hiding in plain site. He told himself, laughing at the idea of it. He knew that his brother was anything but plain. Nevertheless, he helped himself in, knowing that Dark didn't care.

     Daniel could hear the start of a new instrumental playing in another room. He took a good guess in it being Dark's newest song in progress. He knocked on the door and was welcomed in by the familiar shiny umbreon. Daniel could see that Darkness' career was taking a slight affect on him, but he was not one to cave into stress much.

     "Daniel!" He finally said. "What brings you here?"

     "I figured I'd stop by. Rough first day." Daniel replied.

     "Ah, I see. Have a seat, want anything to drink? I got it all." Dark offered.

     "No, I'm good. So, what's the name of this next hit?"

     "It's going to be called 'Pity,' the start for my next album, Patience Lost. Want to hear it?" Darkness explained.

     "Fire away." Daniel challenged.

     "Well, that's what I got so far." Darkness sighed, breathing as he tried to settle down. 

     Daniel was still amazed by how it was. The song was nothing like what Dark normally did. He wasn't much of a slow singer, but the speed reminded him of Better by Khalid. The flareon felt his eyes water from how much emotion Dark put in the song. It was weird, how his voice alone seemed to be able to make anyone feel any emotion of the song.

     Without another thought of it, Daniel left, only realizing that his patience would be tested by how long he could wait for the Patience Lost album, or Pity as its own, to come out.
