Kylie was starting to have second thoughts about her date. Daniel was the one for her, she felt, but she just didn't know if it was the right time. After all, they barely knew each other. Even then, she was getting what she wanted, a chance to be with Daniel, and that was good enough.
Kylie was grooming herself before she left when she felt an energy in her. She realized that her body was giving off a faint purple glow. Impossible. I can't evolve. She thought. Kylie wasn't wrong about that, but she was changing still. The glow became brighter as minutes passed.
Then, she changed into what she thought was a 'Pure Forme.'

Kylie quickly took a picture of herself as she felt the energy leave her slowly. Then, just as quickly as it happened, she turned back to normal. She panted as if she were out of breathe. How was she supposed to react to this? How would Daniel take it?
She pushed the thought away and put a small flower in her fur. She smiled as she looked at herself in the mirror. It's okay, Kylie, just a little anxious, that's all. Kylie told herself. With that in mind, she let and went for the park they agreed to meet at.
Daniel looked around waiting for Kylie. Did something come up for her and she couldn't tell him? Some first date that would be. He thought. As he looked around, he saw that there were multiple espeons that were out today. Ah, hell. This is going to be a long day.
"Not if I'm already here." The familiar espeon's voice replied.
"Kylie!" Daniel cried, jumping in surprise. "How did you sneak up on me?"
"Never you mind, Daniel. Let's just say being a psychic-type has its perks." She answered.
"Oh, yeah." Daniel sighed, remembering that they were able to read minds.
