My Advise to Kylie

Author's note: About a good month had past since Daniel and Kylie first met. I also am not going to bother with first person in Darkness' eyes, so just bare with me.

     Kylie sat in her room, disappointed. She just didn't know how she was supposed to be able to get to Daniel. He had forgiven her for his outburst, but it still didn't make them any closer. There had to be something that got him going. Then she remembered, there was a giving event coming up soon. Daniel could be heard frequently listening to Midn1ght's music. Perhaps she could buy it for him.

     "Maybe I'm not entirely screwed." She told herself.

     There was a knock on the door. Kylie turned her head as thought carefully. Her parent had been trying to help give her advise, but they just didn't quite understand how Kylie felt about Daniel. Why must Arceus burden me with the unknowing of how to win over Daniel? She thought, frustrated.

     Finally, she sighed, "Come in."

     "Are you Kylie?" A pokemon asked. She knew the voice, but she couldn't believe it.

     "Who wants to know?" She asked slowly, still on edge.

     "Darkness Nightdale. Better known as Midn1ght. I was going around when a little birie, literally, told me you had a crush on someone I know." The other pokemon replied, opening the door, showing the familiar shiny umbreon.

     "Oh, who told you that?" Kylie pressed.

     "I believe his name was Skye, the bird, anyways, and the boy is my own brother, Daniel."

     "Okay, so what? I have a crush on your brother."Kylie snarled, furious with Skye and his motormouth.

     "I know how to be able to get to him. Take it from his former-brother." Dark said.

     "Former?" Kylie repeated.

     "Daniel left my family when he was an eevee like I was. Ever since that time, we still talk, but we aren't as close as we once were. However, I do know how to get him to like you. It won't be easy, though. Daniel plays hard to get." Dark explained.

     "Tell me about it." Kylie sighed, laughing.

     "Well, he has a secret, much like I do. He keeps closed off because of it. Good news is, he will open up if you act like you hate him. Try to not make it too sudden, or else hell know you want to be with him. In return, he'll try to figure out what was wrong with you. Then, you can strike with how he never bothered to notice you much and your feelings. Although a gift to him eventually may not be bad." Darkness said casually, like it was the mot obvious thing ever.

     "What's his secret?" Kylie asked.

     "He's like me. I am able to make myself go through a change to where I look different. It's kinda like mega evolution, but instead, it's a form that we called the Pure Forme. Mine, logically is the Pure Rai, Daniel calls his Pure Inferno." He answered.

     "Can you show me Pure Rai?" Kylie asked excitedly.

     "I suppose, but never share this with anyone, got it?" Darkness replied.

     Another 4th wall break. This may seem weird, but I don't even stay black in this form. I turn mostly white. Also, my eyes turn red like a normal umbreon's. Ironic, am I right?

     "Here goes nothing." Darkness whispered to himself.

     Kylie sat there in awe of Darkness' new look. He seemed to have morphed into an angel from the heavens. The small flames around his hind legs gave a little warmth to the room. She reached out and touched his velvet-like fur. She couldn't believe how much more glorious he looked this way. Without warning, he changed back to normal.

     "See? I'll show you a picture of Daniel."

     "If this is the Daniel you want to meet, then take my advise." Darkness said. 

     "I will." Kylie promised. 

     And with that, the great, majestic, and glori..oh, I'm so full of myself. But that's besides the point. The point is, I just dipped out the window.
