A storm rages on the planet of Kamino as Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi fly toward the Clone Headquarters. As Anakin pulls into the arrival bay, Jedi Master Shaak Ti, stands awaiting for them to exit the ship. Captain Rex and Commander Cody are the first two to come down the exit ramp and Anakin and Obi-Wan soon follow.
"General Kenobi. General Skywalker," Shaak Ti greeted as they approached, "A pleasure to see you again. And thank you for coming on such short notice."
"Of course," Obi-Wan said crossing his arms, "But what is the urgency?"
"Prime Minster Lama Su will explain everything," she said walking away.
Anakin and Obi-Wan exchange a look before following Shaak Ti to meet with Prime Minister Lama Su.
After walking through the headquarters, the group finally arrives to Prime Minister Lama Su's throne room. The three stand in front of the prime minister who sits in the center of the room.
"I am afraid we have a situation on our hands," he said.
"And what would that situation be," Anakin asked with curiosity.
With a sigh, the prime minster spoke again, "A few hours ago, we managed to intercept a transmission that a Separatist fleet were on their way to the planet Oria."
"Oria," Anakin interrupted, "Isn't that planet desolate? What would they want with an empty planet?"
"They aren't seeking a resource," Shaak Ti responded, "They are seeking a young boy."
"What would they want with a child," Obi-Wan asked.
"This child," Lama Su said, "He is very special. We believe that he is the next generation of Clone DNA."
"Why was this never brought up to the Council," Obi-Wan asked Shaak Ti.
"Because we haven't been able to confirm if he is the proper candidate," Shaak Ti said, "His guardian won't let us near their farm. He wishes not to have his son grow up in a factory and be part of this war."
"Seems like a pretty legit excuse," Anakin said crossing his arms, "I mean, what are the odds this kid is the ONE?"
"Regardless if he is the ONE or not," Lama Su said standing up, "We on Kamino and even the Jedi, have a mission to protect those who can't protect themselves. We would offer shelter and protection to the family, until we can figure out if he is indeed the one."
"You two, myself and a small clone squadron will head down to Oria," Shaak Ti said stepping forward, "There we will bring the boy and the family back up here, where they will be safe."
Obi-Wan looked to Anakin before saying, "We, of course, will help in any way we can."
"Excellent," Lama Su said, "Then you know your mission. See to it that it is completed in the best way possible."
Anakin, Obi-Wan and Shaak Ti bowed to Lama Su before leaving the throne room.
