Cloe continues to dodge and block many of the of Grievous's strikes. Grievous soon catches her off guard and kicks her back, which makes her skid back and her lightsaber flies across the hallway.
"You are weak," he said walking toward her, "But, with the proper training, you could be a very powerful ally."
Cloe gets up on her elbows as Grievous stands over her.
"I will never join you," she said looking at him in the eyes, "Nor will I allow you to take my brother."
"Then you will die," Grievous said going for a killing blow.
Cloe manages to do a backflip kicking in the face before landing on her feet with her lightsaber in hand. She activates it and then charges toward Grievous, and lays down a few good strikes and blocks as a well. However, Grievous lays an attack that makes Cloe lose her balance. He then grabs her by the throat and throws her onto a wall.
"You won't be able to defeat me," he said, "If you tell me where the boy is, then I will spare your life."
"He---isn't---the person---you think he is," Cloe said between breaths.
Grievous applied more pressure to Cloe's neck.
"Got---tested---confirmed that----he isn't the One. You---lose."
Cloe gave a sly grin before Grievous throws her onto the ground.
"Then I will find the boy on my own," he said as Cloe coughed for air, "But after I kill you."
Grievous, again, goes for a killing strike. Cloe then uses the Force to bring her lightsaber to her and flips over to block Grievous's lightsaber. Grievous, however, overpowers Cloe and pushes her lightsaber close to her eye. It then cuts into her right eye and she lets out a painful scream.
Anakin then comes from the other end of the hallway and with his lightsaber drawn and attacks Grievous who leaves Cloe on the ground.
"I have him," Anakin said to Obi-Wan, "Tend to Cloe."
Obi-Wan deactivates his lightsaber and looks down at Cloe's injury. There is a long burn mark going over her eye and Cloe is unconscious.
"I need a medic in Hallway 21-A. NOW!," Obi-Wan said into his comm link.

Anakin and Grievous take their fight to the boarding bay of the Star Destroyer. As they fight, battle droids begin to retreat into shuttles that are waiting for them. Anakin and Grievous lock lightsabers.
"You failed, Grievous," Anakin said, "The boy isn't who you think he is."
Grievous laughs, "He may not be the One but that doesn't mean he isn't of value to us. You are just too blind to see it."
Anakin freezes for a second and is taken off guard by Grievous who pushes him back. While Anakin is getting up, Grievous flips over the bridge and down to the ground level to a shuttle that takes off. Anakin stands back up and looks at the departing shuttle.
His comm link goes off.
"Anakin," Obi-Wan said.
"He got away, master," he responded.
"We will worry about him later," Obi-Wan said, "Get to the Medical Bay now."

Cloe lays in a bed with a bandage around her right eye. Braxton sits next to her holding onto her hand and Rex stands at the end of her bed, gripping his helmet. Obi-Wan stands outside the Medical Bay looking in and stroking his bread.
"How is she," Anakin said walking up.
"Stable for now. But, it is too early to tell if she will survive," Obi-Wan said, "We will know more when we get to Coruscant."
"Well, I just talked to the Admiral and it looks like Grievous's forces are puling out and retreating," Anakin said, "Hopefully, we don't get any more unwelcomed surprises."
"Well at least one thing is going in our favor," Obi-Wan said.
Obi-Wan comm link goes off.
"The Admiral requests your presence on the bridge," Cody said.
"I will be right there."
Obi-Wan begins to walk away but stops to look at Anakin once more.
"One more thing," he said, "Have a conversation with Rex. He seems to be taking this whole situation rather hard."
"Of course, master," Anakin said.

General Grievous watches from the bridge as the Star Destroyer jumps into hyperspace. He then goes over to sit on his chair.
"Sir," the battle droid said, "Incoming transmission from Count Dooku."
As Dooku comes up on the hologram, Grievous gets out of his seat and bows.
"Were you successful," Dooku asked.
"The daughter put up a fight," Grievous said, "And the boy was hidden."
Count Dooku didn't respond.
"I will be sending Sierra Mist to complete YOUR mission," Grievous said, "You will return to me and we will discuss where you went wrong."
Count Dooku ended the transmission. Grievous then punched a near by battle droid and stormed out of the room.
