ch16. Yumeko X Ryouta pt. 2

Ryota looks tensed at the cup. "Reveal!" The dealer says. Eveybody holds their breath in. He looks shocked at the sword. Yumeko just lost 30 miljoen yen! He looks at Yumeko but she doesn't look bothered by it at all. If she can't pay it off, she will be a house pet!

"Ryota Suzui?" An unfimilliar male voice says. He looks up at the mailman. "I had to give you this" He says and hands him an envelope.

Ryota looks confused but decided to open it. It's a check. "What's this?" He says confused. Why did someone send him so much money?

"I don't understand it" Ryota says to Yumeko. They are now sitting in the canteen, it's lunch break. Yumeko takes a sip of her tea.

"What don't you understand?" She asks him. "That you're still a house pet, you literally won together with Mary enough money to pay off your debt yesterday" He says.

Yumeko doesn't say anything and takes another sip of her tea. "Why would you want to stay a house pet?" He ask her curious. She chuckles for a second but keeps quiet.

"You know, in the beginning I felt so guilty. I thought you couldn't pay off your debt because of me, because you payed off mine-"He says. "Ryota-" Yumeko says with sympathy but he starts to talk again.

"But now you won more than enough money to pay your debt off but you didn't. Then I realized that you just wanted to be a house pet, which I don't know the reason of. Probably because of the only perk a house pet has, an offical match" He says.

Then he starts to grin. Yumeko looks at him a bit confused. Why he is he looking at her like that. "If you really want to be an house pet, then show me mittens" He says.

Yumeko looks surprised at him, she didn't expect him to say that. Her cheeks also turned a bit red. "What do you mean?" She asks confused.

"Stand up" He says with a demanding undertone. They both stand up. "Follow me" He says and walks away with Yumeko behind him.

They walk outside. "Where are we going?" Yumeko asks. "You will see" Ryota says. They stop walking, they are in some alley.

Ryota pushes her against the wall. "Kiss me" He says. Yumeko looks stunned at him. This is not the Ryota she knows, he is acting so dominant. She likes it though. "I said kiss me mittens" He says. This time she doesn't hesitate and kisses him on his mouth.
