It was twelve thirty and Kara still hadn't turned up. The other two wanted to wait for her, but Alexis was starving. She needed some food, and she needed it soon.

"Come on. Please can we get some food. I'm starving. If she hasn't come by now, she'll prob come when we're gone, it's Murphy's Law. And she'll probs wanna unpack, and we can bring some food back or something. Please please please. I'm going to die," she moaned, clutching her stomach. Alaska and Cara just laughed at her.

"Fine, fine," laughed Cara. "Just so you will stop moaning."

"Yes!" Alexis jumped up, pumping the air. She ran over to Alaska and Cara, who were lying on the latter's bed, and grabbed their hands, yanking them up. "Lets go!"

"Oh god, she's like a child," muttered Alaska to Cara, as Cara laughed.

    "I heard that!"

"Your so dramatic." Alexis just flicked her hair in Alaska's face. "Oi!"

Together they walked out room seventeen. Alexis pointed to the room sixteen, which was diagonal to Cara's room.

"That's mine and Faith's room. And then next to that in fourteen is Alaska and Astrid's room." Alexis lead the girls the other way, down towards nineteen, were the stairs were at the end. As they were going down the stairs, she contained the commentary of the rest of the students she'd met. "Room's seven to twelve are the boys who came with us and next to you is Bonnie Thompson and Demetria Ranger's room. Demetria seems nice, but she's like a freaking model, but then again, everyone here seems like models. Bonnie, well, I dunno. I saw her talking to Faith, so that's gonna be interesting. And then next to them is Emelia Baker and Clarisse Carstairs. They also seem nice, though Emelia was a bit stuck up, and Clarisse was like a scholar, goody goody girl, cross with a snobby model. Of the boys, I've only meet Raven Stone and Wesley Zedd. Wesley was sweet, but Raven was full of himself, flexing left, right and centre." The girls laughed at that. They'd finally reached ground level, and walked out the doors and crossed the courtyard to the main castle.

"It's beautiful isn't it," Cara said in awe, as they stopped and looked up at the towering school, with hundreds of windows, and turrets and towers popping up all over the place. Alexis had to agree. It looked like something out of Game of Thrones, or Harry Potter. It looked to be made of limestone and sandstone, with glimmers of what looked to be moonstone here and there. Together they followed the stream of kids up the gleaming stairs and then through the big oak doors, into the massive foyer. And then opposite them stood another archway, flanked by two almost cute looking gargoyles. Delicious smells wafted out the doors towards them, and the mumble of lots of voices.

"Come on," Alexis groaned, yanking the other two by their hands, "what are we waiting for?" Cara laughed, whilst Alaska mumbled something about being dramatic, and like a child. Alexis chose to ignore her. Striding into the Great Dining Hall, the full sound of hundreds of kids talking and eating, the scrape of chairs, and clinking of cutlery, reached the three girls as they stepped through the doors. Set up with a long horizontal table along the far wall of the hall, where the teachers and professors ate, there were seven other tables. Six vertical tables, one horizontal, three vertical edges ones one each side. The long table in the middle seemed to be groaning from all the plates, platters, and tureens layer out on top. There were three short lines around the table, and it didn't seem to matter which line you went. Alexis lead them over to the second line, which was the shortest, and each of them grabbed a plate from the stacks at the end of the table. Alexis' mouth watered at all the food. Curries, salads, sandwiches, fruit, chicken. It was a food girl's heaven. First she scooped up a spoon of a quinoa and rice salad, and then grabbed a chicken drumstick. Cara was still staring at her plate.
