I stuck my hand in the warm water and grabbed a handful of silverware and began to dry them off. I placed them in their correct spots. Spoons in the left container, knifes in the middle and forks on the right. I had checked my work schedule and found out I was washing dishes after all the meals. I didn't mind washing dishes though. I got to be by myself, for the most part. I felt myself cramp and I sighed. I hated being on my period.

I finished drying all the silverware and set the containers back on the food bar for lunch. I had already washed everything else and put everything back up. I was told after cleaning I needed to go to my class. I went to the bathroom in my room and grabbed my notebook and workbook for Wolf Ranks and headed down to the mini classroom. I reached the door and Matt was already sitting at the table drinking coffee. I smiled at him and he returned it with his own.

"Good morning Cassidy", he spoke first as I sat down.

  "Morning".

From then on he began to teach me about the middle class ranks. We also talked some more about him being a human and how to cope with this crazy situation. I couldn't help but like Matt, since he was once human too. He made me feel not so alone. By the end of the class he had looked over my workbook and assigned me the next chapter.

I walked out of the room and carried my stuff back up to my room. I was supposed to do some 'muscle training' with Kat, but I really didn't want to. Not after what happened to Trevor and all that. Was she mad at me? I went to the bathroom and took my clothes off. I put some black sweat pants and a purple shirt on. I slipped my socks and shoes on and made my way down the stairs. I guess I'm just going to have to see if she's mad or not.

I made my way to the gym, walking slowly outside. It felt nice to be able to be outside, but I knew they were watching. The guards. They were all around watching. I sighed and opened the gym doors feeling the cold breeze of air hit my face. My hair flew all around me and covered my shoulders. I looked around, feeling shy once I seen a class in session. They all looked my way and then went back to what they were doing.

I walked over to the left side where I met Kat last time and sat down at the small table. I looked around at all the equipment they had in here. I watched as some of the students did flips across the mats and a bunch of other cool things I could never do. Out the corner of my eye, I noticed Kat walking into the gym with Jake. They seemed to be disagreeing about something but I couldn't hear anything. They stood there for a minute and she crossed her arms, facing away from me.

After some odd minutes they both made their way over to me and I smiled at both of them, trying to be nice.

"Hey Cassidy", Jake started the conversation first.

"Hey Jake, hey Kat", I tried to include her.

Kat grabbed a clipboard out of her backpack, "Hey Cassidy".

"Well, you two have fun", Jake winked at me and then squeezed Kat's shoulder before leaving.

I felt really awkward now. I wasn't sure if she was upset or mad at me, or something else.

"Lets weigh you again okay", she didn't make eye contact with me and walked over to the scale.

I sighed and walked over to it. I stepped on it, seeing I was at 98 pounds.

"How have you lost seven pounds?", she asked seeming concerned.

I stepped off quickly and watched as she was writing something down.

"Do you have an answer or?".

"I was feeling sick and wasn't eating for a few days", I spoke, picking at my fingernails.
