Z's POV
I leave for a few hours to finish paying the last payment for our honeymoon, and I come back to this. Chelsea, Louis, Zachary, and Emily are all in the same room, and I don't know how dangerous this can get. Considering that this woman humiliated, beat, and almost killed my fiancée.
The rose I was holding behind me, falls to the floor. Chelsea seems to notice that, and I look at her angrily. The three freeze and Emily is the first to move away from them and walk towards where I am.
"I was just leaving."
Emily looks different. I haven't seen her for almost two years and seeing her right now, in my house, with my girlfriend, and son, angers me half to turning into an animal.
I grab her arm, "Didn't you listen to me when I told you to stay away from my girlfriend?"
Emily looks down and whispers, "I'm not the same, Zayn."
"Call the police now." I look up to Louis and he already is on his way. Chelsea stops him and turns to me.
"She was just leaving. I told her to never come back."
"I'm deeply sorry for what I did."
"How can I be so sure? If you keep returning!"
She looks up at me, her eyes filled with tears.
"I never wanted to ruin what we had. All the jealousy got to me."
"How do you know where we live? What do you want now? Do you want to take our son away from us? Are you planning for revenge?"
"Zayn." Chelsea pleas and I can see in her eyes that she wants me to stop. She might have forgiven her, but I won't. I will never forgive what she did to the woman I love. I can't take that image of her pointing at Chelsea with a gun while she was kneeling, begging her for mercy.
"We found them!" The police announced when we get to the park. My chest started to burn. "We found her." Is she okay? Is she alive? I couldn't speak. Liam held my arm trying to keep me away from the park while the police take over the scene. Louis, who didn't even care about Chelsea, looked worried and grabbed Taylor's arm since she also wanted to run inside the park.
"Let go of me!" I shouted and pushed Liam. I started running like all the police were doing. The rest of us went after me. "Chelsea!"
"Kid, you have to stay..." The police inquired but I ignored.
I found them.
Emily kicked Chelsea to the ground and she knelt.
The police were running towards them and Emily looked at us and then at Chelsea.
"Goodnight Chelsea" She pointed at her with the gun. "Sleep well."
I ran even faster until I grabbed Chelsea and pushed her. We heard a booming sound and I thought I was too late.
I let her arm go just to put my hands on her neck, but I wasn't planning on her choking. I just wanted her to look at me on the face.
"You don't even deserve stepping in my house or anywhere, you don't even deserve to be breathing."
Emily had no choice but to look at me.
"Do something." I hear Chelsea tell Louis.
"I'm enjoying this." He replies and then sighs. I hear his steps and hands on my shoulder.
"Mate, let go of the girl."
I let go and she quickly left the house without a word. I continue to stand where I had Emily and look at Chelsea and our son.
"How can you be so stupid of trusting her again and letting her inside?"
She rests the baby on the cradle and walks over to me.
"I told her to leave and never come back, everything's okay." She puts a hand on my arm and I hug her.
"I just don't want to lose my family."
"Group hug!" Louis hugs us and I look at him.
"Shut up, you idiot."
We separate when Chelsea kneels to pick up the rose, "Where were you?"
"Buying you a rose."
"All these hours?"
"Yeah." I lie.
She shrugs and stands up to smell it, "Thank you."
"Anyways, I will leave you two and..."
"You can stay." I tell Louis and he scratched the back of his neck.
"I just planned on going with Liam to a party so..."
"Ah," I look at Chelsea. Guess we're going to be alone for the rest of the day, and I can imagine all the things we could do in the Jacuzzi we haven't even tried yet.
OK! One chapter left & EPILOGUE. <3
