The next day Lucy woke up, wishing so badly with all her soul that what had happened the past few days was just a dream, but, to her displeasure, it was not.

"Just how long will this potion last..." She wondered. Lucy didn't know how much longer she could tolerate Natsu clinging to her and blushing cutely.

Lucy decided to talk with Loke about it. The moment she summoned him she remembered that she had admitted she liked both Loke and Natsu. Her eyes widened in terror when Loke appeared.

"L-loke...." Lucy stammered
Loke smiled his charming smile. "What did you call me here for?"
"I-I needed to talk to you about...yesterday," Lucy replied. the moment she said yesterday, her face flushed into a deep shade of red.

"Okay. What of it?" Loke inquired. His face had a smug look on it, as if he expected Lucy to plead him to be with her.

"I... I think I might've said that I liked you and Natsu so I wouldn't sound suspicious, or hurt Natsu's feelings. I honestly don't know who I like, and I regret not saying the truth right then. I've.. never really thought about it I guess." Lucy explained slowly, making sure every word that came out was true and sure, and not some flustered excuse.

Loke looked at the floor smiling with a disappointed somber look in his eyes. "I see. You had my hopes up. You're a beautiful girl, Lucy. Don't you ever doubt that."

With that, Loke lifted Lucy's chin to look into her eyes, and then he went back to the celestial realm.

Lucy sighed, getting up to talk to Juvia. She needed to figure out how long this potion would last.

She found Juvia in the guild, talking to a very flustered Gray. Juvia was almost crawling all over him.

"Juvia!" Lucy called to get her attention as she walked up confidently to the table at which Juvia sat, "tell me just how long is this potion going to last?!"

Juvia put her hands on her cheeks with pleasure, her face slightly red. "A whole week counting the day Gray-sama got this way!"

Lucy's jaw dropped to the floor first and then he held her head in her hands. "I don't know if I can last that long... not against-"

"Lucy!"

It was Natsu.

"Hi Natsu...."

"We should go on a job!" Natsu suggested, a fired-up look in his eyes.

"Yeah!" Happy added gleefully, "we need money for fish!"

Lucy sighed. There would be no denying these two, so she gathered her strength and nodded. "Let's pick one out."
