Olivia walked through the crowed halls trying to get to her locker.

25-5-5-12 *snap*

She opened her backpack and started setting her books inside.

She heard some laughing from behind her and turned around. It was some of the preppy girls from her history class; probably talking about the new kids. It was the first week of a new school year and it was Olivia's last. She was a senior. And she couldn't wait to get it over with. All of her friends had applied for the same college and they were already talking about rooming.

As Olivia glanced down the hall she noticed a boy staring at her. He had black hair and chocolate brown eyes. He was wearing black skinny jeans and black combat boots. All he seemed to wear was black. She smirked when she saw his sleeveless tee, which had Kurt Cobain on it.

They kept staring at each other until they heard the bell ring. Olivia turned around and cursed to herself trying to grab what she needed for class. She ran down the empty hall to English class. She walked in just in time and sat down in the back of the classroom. Mrs. Johnson gave Olivia "the look" and then began class.

"Okay, so today we will be doing........"

Olivia zoned out. For some reason she couldn't stop thinking about the brown eyed boy in the hallway. He must have been new because he certainly didn't look familiar.

She noticed Mrs. Johnson writing something on the board and started writing down notes.

Later that day Olivia and her friends Delaney, Faith, Rachel, Caroline and Sarah sat in the cafeteria laughing about random things (like all groups of friends do)

"So have any of you met some of the new kids?" Olivia asked hoping one of them would know the boy she saw in the hall earlier that day.

"Yeah I sit beside one in Geometry. She doesn't say much though. Why?" said Delaney.

"I was just wondering."

The group of friends continued to talk when all of a sudden Olivia felt somebody sit beside her. She turned around and her heart almost stopped.

"Hi."

It was the boy from the hallway. He had a deep Australian accent and was much taller close up, even sitting down.

Olivia could barely get words out of her mouth. "Hey...." she said awkwardly.

He smiled. "So I guess you saw me looking at you from across the hall earlier." Olivia tried to sound as calm and normal as possible.

"Yeah I noticed. Was kinda curious why though?"

"Oh, Because you're beautiful," he said confidently. He was smiling again.

Olivia could feel her cheeks turning red. He was the first boy to ever say that to her. She tried looking away hiding her embarrassment. She looked up again to see the boy still looking at her and still smiling.

"Anyways, I thought that I should know the name of the girl I think is beautiful."

Don't you dare start blushing again.
She kept telling herself.

"Um... it's Olivia." She starred into his dark brown eyes waiting for him to say something else.

"Olivia! Well hi Olivia I'm Calum," he said as he held his hand out for her to shake. She shook his hand and felt a small piece of paper in her palm. She opened it and saw a set of numbers and at the bottom it said Cal.

She looked up at him and gave him a small smile setting the paper in her pocket.

"Well Olivia I hope to see you around very soon. And don't worry I won't stare at you from across the hall anymore," he said.

Olivia let out a small laugh and he stood up about to walk away when she called out. "Hey!"

He turned around quickly with us hands in his pockets.

"I like your shirt," she said referring to his sleeveless tee.

"Thanks." He gave her his famous pearly white smile one last time before turning around and walking out of the cafeteria doors.

Olivia turned back around to her friends who were all starring at her bewildered by what they just saw.

"Who the hell was that?"

hi!! So yeah this is my new fan fiction! I know this first chapter was short and sloppy and cheesy but I'll try to get better. Please leave feedback and also vote for this chapter.

I think my next update will be this Sunday so I hope that's not too long to wait. (It's just because of my schedule)

I love you all and have a good day! 💖
