Chapter 5

I look at Daniel and his eyes were wide open. Though, he wasn't smiling anymore...I open my mouth to say something but I couldn't. I was sure I was about to cry so I walked away but fast.

"Hold up, y/n" Daniel says but I didn't turn back.

Damn it, I probably just lost him. He probably doesn't feel the same. I keep walking around the school. Anxiety filled every part of my body. My eyes were red too, I didn't want to go back to class. I had to though, they'll call I skipped my class. My dad would get me in trouble but I also didn't want to face Daniel. I slowly walk back but to the library. I see through the glass doors and he wasn't there, but the cart was. He probably headed back to the class. What I'm I gonna do, I feel so embarrassed just walking away. Now he knows I like him. Should I just confront him-

"Hey y/n" I hear. I turn to see Ali, oh great. "What do you want" I say giving a sigh. "Aw, is y/n crying" she says making a baby face but she was just teasing me. "Shut up Ali, leave me alone" I say annoyed. "Mmm, no" she says. I start walking but she follows. "Stop following me" I say. She just laughed. "Are you still crying" she says. I wasn't, my eyes were now just puffy and red. "No, can you leave" I say pissed now. "Why" she says with this annoying voice.

I had enough, every memory I had of her treating me bad filled my head. I turned to her smirking, I grave her hair and pushed her down. She gasped and got angry right away. She laughs a bit but angrily. "You did not just do that"  she says standing up. "Wanna see more" I say.

Next thing you know, we're on the ground. She kept punching me on the chin while I did on her cheek bone. I graved her baby hair from the back of her head and pulled it.

She screamed in pain and suddenly someone pulls me. I was still mad and punched who ever was holding me. I turn to see Daniel holding his cheek. "Shi- sorry Daniel, I didn't mean to" I say but then remembering about what happened.

My face turned red as he put a hand on my cheek. Then realizing he was just checking my bruise on my chin. I sigh and take his hand off. Not harshly though, I turn to Ali to see her getting up. She looked at me and scoffed...
