Chapter 17

When we go to Mr. Miyagi's house, we enter to find Daniel watching T.V. "Hey Daniel" I say hugging him from the back. He turns and smiles hugging me. "You're back," he says. "Yeah, Where's Mr. Miyagi," I say as we both let go. "Don't know, he just told me he was gonna come back," Daniel says. Right then Mr. Miyagi comes in. "Ali, Y/n, you may now finish your food," he says placing our plates. Me and Ali look at each other smiling a bit then sitting down. 

We both finished eating then I sat down with Daniel. We kept watching T.V until it was night. "I'm gonna go to bed now," I say getting up. Daniel nods smiling at me then looking back at the T.V. I head to my room but on my way, I can see Ali's door opened a bit. She sat on her bed staring into the floor. She must have been thinking of something, I then just went to my room. I laid down and almost immediately I fell asleep. Not so long after though, I woke up.

 It was night, a windy night. I could hear the wind blowing but I can also hear footsteps. I get up quietly trying not to scare the person. When I open my door a bit. I can see Ali going to her room with a cup of water. I sigh and close my door again but something caught my attention. I hear two voices coming from her room. I'd guess it was Mr. Miyagi but I saw Mr. Miyagi in bed. I open my door again and quietly go to Ali's door but not opening it. I could hear Daniel and Ali talk. 

"So what do you think? Should I?" I hear Daniel say. "Of course you should," Ali says. It went quiet for a second. "Where would I get it though," Daniel says. I was confused, what were they talking about? I then hear a squeak but from behind me. It was Mr. Miyagi, he told me to follow him so I did. We went to his room and I sat on a chair. "Y/n, you know better than to listen to conversations," Mr. Miyagi says. "Yeah I know," I say looking down. "Something is on your mind. What is it?" Mr. Miyagi says. "Ali," I say. (By the way, Mr. Miyagi and you are whispering). "What about Ali?" He says. "Why exactly did Daniel and Ali break up," I say. "She liked someone else," Mr. Miyagi says. "Yeah I know, but I feel like there is more to it," I say. "Maybe," Mr. Miyagi says. "I do know one thing". "What's that," I say looking at him. "That you need rest," he says, I sigh. "Alright," I say getting up. "Oh y/n," Mr. Miyagi says as I turn around to him. "No more spying on Ali and Daniel". "Okay," I say laughing a bit while he smiled. 

I go to my room trying not to look back at Ali's room. 

I sit on my bed and look around. How can I sleep when I know my boyfriend is in his ex's room. I mean it's not like they were doing anything. Still it kind of- it does bother me. Suddenly my door opens as Daniel comes in. He sees me awake and smiles. "You can't sleep," he says sitting next to me. "N-no," I say debating if I should bring up Ali. No, then he'll know I was listening. "I'll lay down with you, maybe then you'll get sleep," Daniel says. I smile and nod as we did.

 My head on his chest as he almost fell asleep. "Daniel," I say. "Yeah?" Daniel says. "Where we're you?" I say. "What do you mean," Daniel says looking at me. "I mean, I went to your room because I couldn't sleep and you weren't there" I make up. "oh yeah, I was just with Mr. Miyagi talking," He says. "Oh," I say sadly because now I knew he was lying. I'm the one who was with Mr. Miyagi and he knows damn well he was with Ali. Anger got me and I sat up. Trying to calm down since I was mad at him for lying. For trying to keep him and Ali a secret of them talking. "Daniel," I say calmly. "Yeah?" He says still laying down with his eyes closed. "Daniel... I was just with Mr. Miyagi..." I say then making Daniel open his eyes and slowly sit up. "Oh, well I was with Ali before that," he says nervously. "So you lied," I say getting angry again but I knew I had to control myself. "No it's not what it looks like, she just came to my room because she wanted to apologize," he says. "But you weren't even in your room," I say. Daniel sighs, "y/n look, I'm not cheating on you. You would know that, Ali wanted to show me something so we went to her room. We just talked. Nothing happened" he says. "I didn't say you're cheating," I say sighing then laying down facing the opposite of him. If it was just talking then why did he lie about it? I'm overreacting?
