Chapter 18

Ugh why can't he just tell me what they were talking about...

"Y/n.." daniel says hugging me from the back still laying down. I didn't say anything back, I was upset. "Y/n, we were talking about a tree you guys found. Ali said it was a good idea if I took you there. We were planning on my date with you. I wanted to take you there, just us." Daniel says.

I sat down, I felt bad for thinking Daniel would cheat.

"I'm so sorry, I just felt weird with you going in her room" I say then pausing. "Can you forgive me?" I say looking at him. He smiles and sits down. "It's alright" he says pecking my lips.

I smile big and soon we lay down falling asleep.

Next morning

When I woke up, Daniel was still sleeping. Everything was quiet and peaceful.

I got up and went outside. I felt the breeze hit my face which felt good.

I heard a voice and I turn around to see Ali there. She walked up to me and let the breeze hit her face too. "The wind feels nice today" she says smiling. "It does feel nice" I say. "Want something to eat? I can cook something while Mr. Miyagi and Daniel sleep" Ali says. "I'll help you" I say.

We both go inside and start cooking something from the kitchen. The sound of the stove on and us laughing a bit woke up Daniel and Mr. Miyagi.

Mr. Miyagi came in smiling at us to see us getting along. I mean I was starting to get along with Ali but I can't help to think about me almost dying on the road. It was part of Ali's fault. Though I know I had to leave that in the past but it's not that easy.

Daniel came in and hugged me from behind as I put the plates on the table. "Today we are exploring again" Mr. Miyagi says. I smiled and the rest of us did too.

When we finished, we got ready. I put on...(Up to you) and met the others outside.

"You took long" Daniel says. I put a hand on my chest acting offended. "I did not" I say. Daniel laughs and so does Ali.

We all went walking and looking around. There were a lot of people here and we ended up at some fair but not the type that has rides. We looked around and Mr. Miyagi bought some things. "Well look who it is..." Someone says.

I recognize that voice...

I turn around to find my parents standing right there. I smiled and hugged them.

"What are you guys doing here?" I say in excitement. "We just came for a bit, Mr. Miyagi invited us to-" my mom says getting cut off. "Nonono not yet" my father says. "oh right ,I'm sorry." My mom says.

I looked at Mr. Miyagi in confusion. "it's a surprise" Mr. Miyagi says. I smile still confused but deciding to leave it up to them. They're probably planning a dinner or something so I wasn't too concerned.

Daniel taps my shoulder and he looks a bit akward. That's when it hit me, my father doesn't know still me and Daniel are dating. I mean he knows we're close friends. I don't think I should be nervous...I mean he knows Daniel, he's a, how my dad says , "Responsible young boy".

"Yeah" I say smiling to Daniel. "Have you told your father about us yet? " He whispers nervous while Ali was shopping and My parents and Mr. Miyagi spoke. "No not yet." I say whispering back. "You should tell him" he says. "I know I will, but when were alone." I say. "Alright" Daniel says smiling as I smile back.

Ali then came back, "Ok I'm ready" she says with 2 bags. We all start walking and I decide to make a conversation.

"So what did you get?" I say asking Ali. "Nothing much, just a t-shirt, a hat, and a bracelet. " She says. "Look we are going in there" Mr. Miyagi says smiling.

I look and there's this tall building. It was a museum, I've never been to one. When we go in, it's big from the inside, crystal lights and expensive decorations.

We get our tickets and start walking in. I looked around to see paintings and sculptures. Not only that but people doing sculptures.

Walking in the hall way, we saw pictures of children and their stories. What happened to them and how they ended up. Im not gonna lie, I wanted to cry when I read about them. They were all mostly sad ones.

When we got to the end of it, we saw this big screen that gave us a small lecture. When it was done, we went to this big room with a buffet.

"Guys go get a table while we pay." My mom says to Ali,Daniel, and me. We go and find one since there were people and soon sat down on a empty table that Ali found.
