The Appalled One (On Hiatus)

We All Have Our Differences.

A/N: This chapter will have some swearing and a bit of bullying so fair warning to all you lovely people out there.

It had been a few months ever since Scorpion came into this world. The first few weeks of his childhood was spent under his mother's care. He wasn't a social butterfly compared to his brothers and sisters. However, he did get many visitors due to his unexpected eye color. Rather than having the typical amber or bronze colored eyes like most of the wolves in the pack had, Scorpion ended up being born with luminescent purple eyes. His parents were shocked, Faolan absentmindedly suspecting that Dalla had possibly had a secret affair with another wolf. Unfortunately, Scorpion's extremely different appearances caused a controversy with his parents. Every few nights, his parents would yell at each other while Scorpion essentially dug his face into the terrain to block out the sounds. Dalla would enter his part of the den with watery eyes, embracing him all night up to the point where they'd sleep together. Soon enough, Dalla had grown tired of Scorpion being a potential parasite, so she had forced him to socialize with the other pups in the pack. 

Little did she know that this would create an autrocity in the pack..

Scorpion ran as fast as he could, his tail tucked between his legs. He whined quietly, hiding behind a small boulder as he quivered. A bit of blood trickled down his shoulder, a few bruises covering his torso. Socialization didn't go as planned. He stuttered more than he  could make out words, so the pups used this against him. They laughed at him, one of the more haughty pups growing near. The pup sneered, tackling Scorpion and pinning him down as he growled.

"You're the alpha's kid right? Or should I say the alpha's little freak show. I bet those eyes of yours aren't even real. No wolf can be born with those types of eyes. I bet your mother slept around with a wolf from another pack and therefore you were born. An accidental mistake." The pup chuckled, the other pups behind him laughing. Scorpion whined, trying to get out of the pup's grasp, his paws gently pushing at his face. The pup examined his actions, bursting out into laughter. "Now this is pathetic. A pup that can't even at least strike back? Clearly you've been babied too much boy. Had you been my kid, I would've disowned you by now. Your mother made a mistake keeping a good-for-nothing piece of shit alive."

"L-L-Leave me a-a-alone..!" Scorpion sputtered out, managing to throw the pup off as he got on all fours, attempting to growl. The pups only laughed again, the one who had pinned him down rolling his eyes as he lunged himself at Scorpion again, sinking his canines into his shoulder. Scorpion yelped, his reflexes causing him to scratch the pup's muzzle. The pup winced a tad bit, growling as he grabbed Scorpion by the scruff and threw him to a rock. A few drops of blood fell onto the floor, the pup looking down at the stained grass. The pup's eyes narrowed, looking at Scorpion and baring his teeth.

"You're going to regret that you fucking bitch!" The pup snarled, gesturing to the other pups to hold him down. The other pups obliged, pinning Scorpion down  with their paws. The leader pup grinned menacingly, the whole group striking Scorpion repeatedly. Scorpion whined, trying to block each attack, but it was no use. He closed his eyes, trying to distract himself from the pain. The pups kept hitting him and biting him, dealing lethal blows to his slim body. His body weakened a bit, but a rush of adrenaline hit him, allowing him to throw the pups off and run away.

Scorpion stayed silent, his breathing rapid as he tried to calm himself down. The pups eventually found him, snickering as they cornered him. Scorpion's ears lowered, his body paralyzed with fear. This is what he dreaded was going to happen if he tried to talk with other pups. His shyness only made him an easy target. His purple eyes glistened due to water forming in them. The pups mocked him, laughing as they drew closer.
