Scorpion had remained asleep all morning, his body surely exhausted by everything that had happened yesterday. His eyes fluttered open, slowly getting up and stretching. However, when he looked forward, he wasn't in his den. He wasn't in the pack grounds at all. Had Arachnid taken him somewhere without his knowing? No, that couldn't be. It'd look suspicious. Besides, the pack might have gone out and searched for him by then.
He shook his head, getting his bearings as he looked at the land he was in. He was shocked by what he was seeing. The place he was in was drop-dead gorgeous. Snow covered every inch of ground, the trees appearing to be made out of crystal due to how the sun reflected the icy leaves. The sky was an astonishing pink, perhaps signifying that it was breaking dusk or dawn. Scorpion walked around, leaves under him crinkling due to the pressure. His ears twitched, hearing birds calling out in the distance. The more he walked, the more he saw. Every aspect within wherever he was hadn't seized to amaze him. Surely this couldn't be a real place. Or, perhaps it is but maybe it hadn't been discovered? Scorpion came across a flock of birds feeding on trees, smiling as he sat down and observed them.
The birds were an absolute beauty. Their feathers had the pattern that appeared to be jewel-like. Their elegant blue and green-ish yellow feathers shone vibrantly with the dim light of the sun. Scorpion held one of his paws out, one of the birds turning to look at him and flying down to his paw, perching on it. Scorpion giggled, watching the little creature in front of him. The bird's dull eyes watched his every movement, its wings fluttering a bit as it chirped happily. Scorpion mimicked the chirping, smiling again as he gently stroked the bird with his other paw. Scorpion's eyes perked due to his mind reminding him of his,, new companion. Scorpion shook his head, turning towards his tail and sniffing it.
If Arachnid was here, he would've probably murdered all of this peaceful animals in cold blood. But, he would've also probably told me where I was. Hm, maybe he's sleeping? Scorpion pondered, setting the bird down as he stood up and walked off to explore more. A sudden gust of wind flew right past him, the pressure of the air interlocking with every strand of his fur. The gust caused his pelt to be a bit messy, but he didn't bother to fix it. He was more intrigued with the sudden wind. The gust of wind pushed past him again, his eyes locked onto the wind as he followed its movements. He ran besides the wind, stopping abruptly in his tracks as a menacing tower stood before him. His ears lowered at the dark aura that revolved around the tower, gulping. The tower looked as if it had been through a few thousand decades. Its graphite walls were cracked to the rim, moss filling every crevice. Crows were perched on the outskirts of the tower, their beady eyes turning to look at Scorpion. Scorpion took a step back, one of his back paws breaking an elder twig beneath it. The sudden sound ticked a nerve within all of the crows, the lot of them spreading their wings and ambushing Scorpion. Scorpion yelped, having no choice but to run into the ancient tower if he wanted to get away from the flock. He went as deep into the tower as it allowed him to, his chest heaving rapidly as he turned back to make sure none of the crows had followed him inside. He walked backwards, attempting to be cautious as his body came into contact with another figure. Scorpion flinched, staying completely still as he closed his eyes, whimpering quietly.
A-Arachnid? A-Are you there? I c-could use s-some information of w-what I b-bumped into r-right about n-now. Scorpion thought mindlessly, his tail flicking every once in a while. The figure he had bumped into looked down at him. The bottom jaw of the figure split into two, sharp and lethal canines being shown as the figure let out a rumbling growl. Scorpion quickly ran for his life, the figure chasing after him. The footsteps of the figure sounded more than a regular four-legged wolf would have, so surely whatever he was being chased by wasn't your ordinary animal. The figure stopped, looking up at the ceiling and huffing, crouching down as it ascended from the floor, its extra limbs attaching to the material and allowing the figure to chase Scorpion from above. In any normal perspective, the animal would look like a spider, but it wasn't, now was it? Scorpion slowed down, looking back and feeling slightly relieved as the figure wasn't there anymore. He caught his breath, shaking his head as he sighed heavily. A few drops of a green liquid fell in front of him, the liquid searing the stone beneath him. Scorpion's eyes widened a bit, telling himself mentally to not look up. He knew that in most cases, if you looked up you'd almost immediately be killed by whatever was above. Scorpion whimpered again, getting on his stomach as he covered his eyes with his paws, his body quivering.
