Chapter 15

The paramedics showed up and took me to the emergency room and Hondo rode with me...
The doctor examined me and took blood test and pee tests along with other tests..
Hondo stayed by my side the whole time and I was thankful for him..
While the doctors were tending to me, the captain had to talk to Hondo out in the hallway about what happened..
"go ahead King IL be okay.. " I say
"okay baby girl I love u so much baby girl.. "  he says
"why do u call Hondo king for?? " one of the nurses asked me
I had a good feeling that she was just peanut butter and jealous of us and she was bitchy.. So this is what I told her ass..
"I call my man King because he is a beautiful and amazing man.. He goes out of his way to make sure that I know that I am loved and cared for and wanted and happy and his.. He always let's me know that every single day and night.. He is the one that God himself molded and shaped and created just for me and no one else.. His heart is mine and my heart is his... " I say simply to her..
I knew that she was wanting to be a mean and snide person but I wasn't going to give her that because I wasn't  going to stoop to her level..
Hondo and everyone overheard what I said to her because even though she didn't deserve me to be kind to her and I could have been mean to her like she was being to me but I wasn't raised like that.. I didn't know that everyone had heard what I said..
She didn't say anything else and just left the room and I must have drifted off to sleep because the doctor was in the room when I woke up..
"how are u feeling Ms Cullen?? " he asks me
"I'm feeling a bit better just still have a headache now " I say "um where's my boyfriend at??" I asked him
"he stepped out to get a cup of coffee and will be right back.. I have ur tests results back now.. " he says
"all right then doc what is it?? " I say
"well u have a slight concussion and will need to stay at home for at least 2 weeks to let it heal properly and congrats ur 8 weeks pregnant with twins..." he says
"I'm pregnant with twins?? " I say smiling
"yes and ur due date is October 16th of this year.. " he says
"does Hondo know yet?? " I ask
"no not yet Ms Cullen " he says giving me a strange look
"oh no no it's not like that doc.. It's just that I want to be creative with the way I tell him about the babies!! I'm so happy and over the moon about this!! " I say
"oh no worries Ms Cullen 😂 " he says
"I'll go ahead and get ur discharge papers ready and prescriptions r ready.. And u will need to make some doctor appointments and the stitches will need to be removed in about 2 weeks as well.. " he says
The bad guys had managed to cut me on the left side of my face by my temple to my ear with something..
I was just laying there on the uncomfortable gurney when Hondo came back and smiled at me like I was the only girl in the world!! I love when he smiles at me like that and I love him so much!!
"baby girl how are u feeling?? " he says with concern and worry in his gorgeous brown eyes..
"I'm gonna be okay baby doll just got a mild concussion and I have to take it easy and stay at home for at least 2 weeks now... The doctor is getting my discharge papers ready and then we can head out and get them filled and stop for a burger and head on home.." I say
