part 1

Today was the day, my first blind date. It started in 3 hours and Sadie was on her way to my house. I started to get a little bit stressed but I knew that was normal. I am going on a date with someone I had never met... I hope everything goes well but that would be a miracle..

I heard a knock on the door, I went to open it and there was Sadie. In her hand she had a big pink box, I assume it was a makeup box. And she had the biggest smile on her face, I think she is even more exited than I am or at least should be.

She did my hair and makeup and I put on my dress while she was preparing my purse. I don't know why but she insisted. It wasn't such a bad idea since I always forget something and she is the kind of person who is always prepared for everything.

I step in her car and she put a blindfold on my head.
"Ehh.. I don't think you actually have to be blind for a blind date..?"
" I know but some of my friends and I thought we should do this in 4 parts
Part one: you both fill in a few questions
Part two: you just talk without seeing each other.
Part three: you read the answers of the other person
And last part, part four: you do the date with seeing each other"
"You sure that that isn't weird ?"
"No it's fun!"
"It's childish."
"Oh shut up, you're gonna do it whether you like it or not."
"Bu-"
"Sssssjjj I'm a professional and I know what I'm doing, just trust me."

Well it's already going to be awful because of my awkwardness so it's not that it can be worse... right?

We arrived, I stepped out of the car (without seeing anything) than Sadie went to help me.
"So, where are we?"
"My house"
"And why?"
"Just shut up already..."

We went inside Sadies's house and she set me in a room on a chair, she took of my blindfold and I looked around, I saw a piece of paper and a pencil. She really was serious about this.
I filled in the questions.

1: what's your favourite food?
2: if you could go on vacation to wherever you want, where would you go?
3: my perfect date is...
4: pet peeve
5: do you want a pet if you have your own house?
6: how many children do you want? (Oh my god serious Sadie?)
7: marriage, yes or no?
8: the first word that crosses your mind right now? (Thats simple, stupid!)
9: future job?
10: where + how do you want to live?

After I filled in the questions I gave the paper to Sadie and she put on my blindfold okay, let's get ready for part two!
