They walked up to us and I quickly turned to "look" at the thrasher shirts behind me.

"Oh hey!"

I turned around and saw Maddy smiling at me.

"Hey! you're maddy right?" I said smiling back

I didn't want to be rude. But I also didn't want to see like I didn't care.

"Yes! It's so nice to meet you." She pulled me into a tight hug.

While we were hugging I gave chase and payton the 'help me' look.

We let go.

"Why do you say that?" I asked genuinely confused.

"Well Jaden is always talking about you!" She said back and she turned to look at Jaden who was rubbing his neck and gave a nervous smile.

"Oh that's nice." I said with a fake smile.

Payton stepped forward. "So what things does he say?"

I put my arm in front of Payton and laughed it off as if it was a joke.

But I knew payton wasn't kidding.

We stood in the check out line and Jaden and Maddy left to go to forever 21.

Chase ended up buying the skateboard and I bought a thrasher hoodie with scrunchies.

"So do you girls buy those for accessories or actually use them." Chase asked while flicking one at me.

"Both." I said throwing it back at him.

"They're cute I like them." Payton said putting one I already had on.

It was pink with flowers on it.

We walked out and caught up with Anthony.

"So how was Avaniiii." Chase asked nudging his side.

"She's sooo amazing." He said back

Chase giggled and so did I.

"Hey guys i'll catch up with you I gotta use the bathroom." Payton said as he touched by shoulder.

"Okay catch up with you later."

Payton's POV:

I walked to the bathroom but got a drink of water first.

I got done and looked down at my wrist.

I saw y/n scrunchie and smiled.

I really liked her and wouldn't do a thing to hurt her.

I decided I could wait and use the bathroom until we got home.

I started walking and ran into Maddy walking out of the bathroom.

Shit she saw me.

I smiled at her and hoped that she would just smile back and leave.

Instead she came over my way and started talking to me.

"Hey Payton!"

"Hey Maddy." I said and tried to make my way around her and leave.

But she wouldn't let me.

I nervous smiled "Hey maddy I think y/n is waiting for me.

"Cute scrunchie where did you get it?" She said reaching for my wrist totally ignoring what i had said

What the hell was she doing???

I snatched my wrist away.

Who was I kidding she knew exactly what she was doing.

"It's y/n's" I said as she looked back at me and looked into my eyes.

"I have to go-

She cut me off before I could finish

"Well couldn't you just stay for a second?" She asked with a pouty lip and took the scrunchie and put it in her hair.

"Maddy give that back." I said reaching for it.

"Couldn't I just keep it for a little?" She said with puppy dog eyes.

I didn't know what to do.

So I brought her into the nearest closet.

y/n POV:

I looked around for payton.

It's been awhile I should probably go check on him.

As I was walking to the bathroom I bumped into him.

"Woah hey what took you so long?" I smiled at him.

"Probably putting a huge dump in there." Chase started laughing.

I chuckled and looked back him.

He seemed un- easy.

"Maybe it was something I ate." He said laughing

I could tell it was a fake laugh.

I then looked behind him and saw Maddy come out of the bathroom.

I looked at her for a second and back at him.

"Well let's get home I'm tired." Chase said walking with Anthony and Cynthia
