jaden and i had been driving around for about an hour and it was honestly great.

we played bomb music, laughed under the hurt, and learned new stuff about each other.

i still hadn't told him that i think the guy she cheated on him with was payton.

gosh i didn't even wanna believe it.

i was getting kind of hungry so i spoke up.

"hey look over there." i said pointing quickly to waffle house

jaden was a bit startled until he saw what i had pointed at

i looked over and nudged his side. "it's waffle houseeeeee."

he rolled his eyes and pulled into the parking lot while i did i mental "YES OMFG"

i was so hungry and to be honest as bad as it sounds i needed to eat my feelings out and possibly tell jaden about payton.

he parked and i literally jumped out of the car and ran to the door.

i could hear jaden laugh as he slowly approached the door too.

"come on you slow poke." i said as i opened the door to the warm inside.

i walked the way towards a table and sat down as jaden sat across from me

"what are you getting?" he said not taking his eyes off the menu

"jaden you don't have too i can pay."

i knew exactly where that was going. i didn't want him to pay at all.

"nope sorry i'm paying." he said still not taking his off the menu.

i sighed very loudly and put my hand over his menu

"there's absolutely no way you are. not tonight."

"oh come on y/n seriously i want too." he said looking up to me finally

he wasn't gonna crack so i took my hand off his menu and slouched back in my chair

i flipped up the menu to choose and then our waitress came over.

"what can i get you two sweethearts?" she asked smiling at both of us and winked at me

"oh we're not a coup-

jaden cut me off. "i'll have the pancakes and bacon with coffee please"

"and you miss?"

still focusing on what just happened i finally spoke up "i'll uhm have the pancake w eggs and a hash brown please. oh and an orange juice."

"no problem." she said and grabbed the menus

jaden gave me a disgusted face.

very confused i respond with "what?"

"you got orange juice instead of coffee?"

"ew yeah i hate coffee." i said looking out the window

he chuckled "weirdo"

i laughed back still thinking about how he cut me off. i weirdly didn't mind it but i feel like i should've.
