~(Y/N)'s POV~
I walked out of my dorm sleepily. Making my way towards the entrance hall, I caught a glimpse of my banana haired friend. Taking the next few steps to meet him put a cheesy smile on my face. Len looked at me with a sad smile as I placed myself beside him.
"Len? What's wrong?" I asked with concern present in my voice.
"Nothing... Okay, it's something." The shota boy admitted, rubbing the back of his neck nervously.
"Well tell me," I said in a serious tone.
"Well, it's an odd question-"
Before Len could finish his statement, Misaki stood on a milk crate and clapped her hands repeatedly. I looked ahead and paid attention to what Misaki was about to say. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see a worried Len.
"Hello campers! Let's all head to the cafeteria to eat breakfast! Afterwards, we have a very special activity!"
The crowd 'ooh'd and 'ah'd at Misaki's words. Everyone made their way to the cafeteria; eager to eat and get the day started. As I took the next few steps forward, I felt a hand touch mine. I turned around to see Len starting at me awkwardly.
"Hm? What's wrong?" I asked.
"We need to talk." He started in a serious tone.
I nodded and watched the rest of the teens go into the cafeteria.
"Might wanna hurry up. I heard they're having waffles this morning!" I exclaimed with a giggle.
Len showed no response of amusement. I gulped.
"Oh, you're serious..."
"(Y/N)-Chan. Why are you being so friendly? Do you want something? Are you wanting to use me?"
"Use you...? Len, why would you think that..." I whispered, obviously hurt.
Len softened his gaze and realized how hurtful his words sounded.
"I'm sorry, I'm just used to people manipulating me and throwing me away after."
He placed a hand on my shoulder. "How about we go eat waffles now?"
I looked at Len's apologetic eyes and smiled softly. "Let's go eat waffles."
The two of us walked into the building and placed ourselves in our usual sitting area. As we ate our food, all was silent- well, there were people chatting - but silent nonetheless.

~Len's POV~
I watched (Y/N) eat her breakfast with a somewhat sad smile. Deep down, I knew why she was upset. I just accused her of using me for something.
- You should have known she wouldn't use you.
She isn't like that.
But you had to go and be stupid.
Yet again. -
(Y/N) caught me staring at her and looked at me with a smirk.
"I know I'm amazing Len, but we've only known each other for a week."
"What are you talking about?" I asked with confusion.
"I'm talking about the fact that you like me!" (Y/N) said with a giggle.
"Pfft, don't flatter yourself." I stated, throwing a plastic straw at her face.
(Y/N) retaliated by hurling a crumpled paper towel at me. After a few more throws, there was a small food fight between the two of us. We earned a small warning from Misaki afterward.
We walked outside and looked out on the lake.
"(Y/N), look." I said, pointing at the paddle boats sitting beside the dock. "Do you think we're gonna use those for the special activity?"
" I hope so! I haven't used one of those in years!" (Y/N) exclaimed with glee.
I watched as other campers made their way there. Assuming we should follow them, I grabbed (Y/N)'s hand and dragged her to the docks. Misaki stood on yet another milk crate and smiled.
"We're going to ride the paddle boats today! Everyone get into groups of four- no more, no less - to start the activity!"
I was super excited to do today's activity. After all, maybe (Y/N) wouldn't be so mad at me if we rode the boats together. That was until Misaki announced that we needed a group. (Y/N) and I looked at each other with worry. The two of us haven't socialized at all since we got to the camp. And now we have to find two other people. So much for trying to make it up to (Y/N)...
