(A/N: Hey everyone! I want to say thanks SO much for reading this story! It really means a lot! Sadly enough, this is the last chapter of the story. I hope you all enjoy it. I'm not sure if there will be a sequel, but this book with have a small update letting everyone know if there is.)
~ Len's POV ~
I glanced at my phone and sighed.
5:15
(Y/N) was always early. If she was coming with me, she'd most likely be here by now. But there could always be a misunderstanding, right? Maybe she was just walking slow. Maybe she woke up late. Maybe she sprained her ankle and now she's taking longer. There's lots of possibilities. But the possibility that she wasn't coming lingered. I glanced at my phone again.
5:23
There wasn't much longer. The bus would be here to take me to the airport at exactly 5:30. There wasn't any escaping this. There wasn't a way to delay the bus. I prayed (Y/N) would be here soon. The loud noise of the bus screeching to a stop before me was startling.
My heart pounded. (Y/N) wasn't here. Had she really chosen to stay? The bus door opened. I hesitantly stepped forward. (Y/N) wasn't behind me. She wasn't in the distance. She wasn't here at all. She had chosen to stay behind. I winced at the thought before sitting in a seat. The bus moved forward into the darkness. I put on my headphones. The airport was about 30 minutes away. Might as well do something to pass the time... Listen to music, stare out the window, and wish (Y/N) was beside me.
"It took me by surprise
The hatred in his eyes
I've pushed this man as far as he could go
But he lacked the words to let me know
He acted out
Now I can see
It is my fault..."I hated those lyrics. I hated that I loved them. I hated how much I could relate to them. It did take me by surprise. (Y/N) always chose me over Gumi or Fukase or anyone else. But she chose them. She chose Fukase. And maybe it was my fault. Maybe I didn't show her enough love. Maybe I didn't take her to the café as much as she needed. Maybe we didn't go stargazing enough.
The bus pulled to a stop. This couldn't be my stop, could it? I looked outside the window. It was my stop. I sighed and stood to my seat. I walked into the airport slowly. Seeing the familiar turquoise hair, I walked over.
Miku turned to me. "Ah, Len, there you are! We were just talking about you~"
"I don't care." I stated.
"Aw, are you mad you didn't get to stay with your girlfriend?" Miku teased.
I glared at her. She smirked.
"Alright, I get it. I'll stay out of your business..."
Kaito patted my shoulder. "I'm sorry she couldn't come, Len. But it's for the better."
"For the better? How? Now Fukase gets her all to himself. How is that for the better?"
"Eh... N-No I meant... You didn't think you could be with her forever, did you?"
"I thought I could... What do you mean I couldn't?"
"(Y/N) can't abandon her family and friends and travel the world."
"We did. Didn't we?"
"Not exactly. We never had real families. We were all from a home, Len."
"Whatever. I don't wanna hear your excuses. (Y/N) could come anytime. She knows we'll be here."
"I don't think she's coming, Len."
I rolled my eyes and sat in a seat. The rest of the main six chatted about the concert. Outfits, hairstyles, all that stuff.
But I didn't care. I don't wanna travel the stupid world. I don't want to be a Vocaloid if it means I have to leave (Y/N) behind. I may be young and dumb and whatever else you wanna call it, but I know one thing. I know (Y/N). More specifically, I know I love her. I'll never stop loving her. Even though we probably won't see each other ever again...
The speaker called our flight. Kaito looked at me. I sighed and stood up. We all walked to the plane. I walked up the steps. On the final step, I heard someone call my name.
"Len! Len, wait!" Called (Y/N).
I spun around. She stood there out of breath- one hand down and the other clutching her heart.
"(Y/N)! You made it!" I cheered.
I ran down the steps and held out my hand. "C'mon! Let's go pick a seat!"
(Y/N) stood there, looking me in the eyes. I raised a brow and cleared my throat.
"The plane is boarding... Did you already scan your luggage?"
She was still silent. "L-Len..."
I was slightly confused. The speaker called for the last boarding warning.
"We have to get on now, (Y/N)." I stated.
I stretched out a hand. (Y/N) softly pushed it away. Her (e/c) eyes were filled with tears.
"(Y/N), what's wrong...?" I asked.
She shook her head. "Len... I-I can't go with you..."
I took a step back. "What...?"
(Y/N) looked at the ground. "I-I came to say goodbye..."
I looked at her in sadness. She wasn't serious... Was she? Surely this was a joke. (Y/N) lightly shoved me up the stairs.
"Goodbye, Len."
Those words shattered my heart. I ran over and tried not to cry.
"No, no! Don't say that! Don't say goodbye!"
"Len, I have to..."
"No, please don't..."
She hugged me tightly. "Goodbye... I love you..."
"(Y-Y/N)... Please..."
"Len, walk up the stairs."
"I can't go without you!"
"Len, you need to look away."
"Why?!"
"Because I can't leave if you're watching me..."
"(Y/N)... Don't do this..."
"Len, please..."
I took a deep breath and turned my back. I slowly walked up the steps. I turned behind me, but it was too late. (Y/N) was already walking away. There was nothing I could do. She was gone.
I sat alone on the plane. I couldn't think of anything but (Y/N). I wanted her to be here. I wanted to see her face. I wanted to hold her hand. But she was gone. I don't have any way to get her back. I was in Japan, and she was back at camp.
Kaito patted my shoulder. "I'm sorry about (Y/N), Len."
"I-It's fine..." I lied.
I stared out of the window. Everything was blurry. Before I realized, tears began to spill from my eyes. Surprisingly, I wasn't able to contain them. I buried myself in my hoodie and soon fell into a numb slumber.
