~ Len's POV ~
"I promise you're gonna love it, (Y/N). It's so pretty there." I said with a smile.
(Y/N) giggled. "Does it look like something from a fantasy movie?"
"Even better," I stated.
The two of us walked a while longer under the sunset. Eventually, we reached the hideout. I had set up two sleeping bags, a cooler with drinks, and a box of snacks.
"Oh my gosh...." (Y/N) whispered.
My smile faded.
' Oh no. she doesn't like it. ohnoohnoohnoohno
What am I gonna do?!
Should I take her back to her cabin?
911, I'm dying '
(Y/N) clapped her hands and giggled. "This is beautiful!!! How'd you find this place?!"
I was relieved and smiled again. "I was in the woods earlier trying to-"
I paused and shook my head. "It's nothing."
There's no way I'm going to tell her I followed a bunny to give it a carrot.
(Y/N) smiled and sat down on her sleeping bag. I walked over to the cooler and grabbed two drinks for us. Placing myself beside her, I looked in the sky.
"Oh, the stars are starting to come out," I stated.
(Y/N) pointed to the brightest star. "There's our star, Lenny!"
My face had a pink tint. "L-Lenny?!"
The girl giggled. "Sorry, I thought it was cute."
"I'm not cute!"
"Yes, you are! You're the most adorable little shota boy ever!!!" (Y/N) said with a glare.
"I'm not shota, I'm not cute, and I'm not adorable-"
Suddenly, (Y/N) wrapped her arms around me and placed her head on my shoulder.
"What the- what are you doing?!" I shrieked.
"I'm trying to make you feel better. I refuse to let you talk bad about yourself."
"W-what...?" I stuttered.
After a moment, I slowly wrapped my arms around her and smiled softly.
"Hey, Lenny?"
"Yes?"
"You're my best friend."
Something about the word 'friend' felt weird. It felt wrong. I shook the feeling off.
"You're my best friend too," I replied.
The two of us sat in silence for a few moments. (Y/N) took a sip of her drink.
"Y'know, Len?"
"Hm?" I asked.
"I was wondering... Why were you alone with Teto?"
"Why were you alone with that guy?"
(Y/N) looked away. "Sorry, I just-"
"You can't be mad at me for being alone with a girl when you were alone with a guy."
"Len-"
"That's not how it works, (Y/N)."
"I knocked something into the window and he was inside the building. That was all."
