Chapter Ten § She's back

-

As much as things had gotten better since Taehyung's nightmare, things had only become more stressful.

Two nights ago, Jungkook finally told Taehyung about why there were so many meetings, and why Jungkook had been training everyone harder.

Apparently, they were going after a big man, a large mafia-based group that was sending threats to Bangtan about Taehyung himself.

Jungkook said that he had brought in a group of girls, members normally stationed in Busan, to help with the mission of killing off the threat.

And worst of all, they were staying in the HQ with the couple, along with Jungkook's close friends. From the start, Taehyung knew things wouldn't end well.

"Yah, Kook ah! Not when I'm cooking!"

The mafia currently had his arms wound around Taehyung's waist, pressing ticklish butterfly kisses around his neck and shoulder, only chuckling because the blond was laughing.

Taehyung was attempting to make some spicy kimchi and bulgogi as a special lunch for the two of them, marking three months before their marriage.

Sort of like an odd three month anniversary. Not that there was much need for it, but if Taehyung deemed it necessary, then so did Jungkook.

"Why, petal? I love your laughter, it's beautiful, just like you."

Taehyung's cheeks lit up with a bright blush, lips curling into a shy smile.

"Your cheekiness won't get you out of trouble if I burn myself, babe."

With a last kiss, Jungkook's lips latched onto Taehyung's neck, sucking, licking, and biting for a couple minutes before he pulled away, hands running delicately over the blond male's hips.

"Don't cover that mark, petal. I like it when everyone knows who you belong to."

Taehyung only rolled his eyes, spooning a bit of the Kimchi and bulgogi together and then placing the spoon in front of the mafia's lips.

"Just try this, Kook. I wanna make sure it tastes good," Taehyung murmured with an obvious pout shaping his lips. His bright eyes locked with Jungkook's for a moment before the mafia took the bite, humming in content almost immediately.

"It's amazing, petal. I love your cooking. I'm going to take care of a couple things quick, if you could pack up the food so I can take you to my favorite place, that would be amazing. I'm gonna make this anniversary of ours special, okay?"

Taehyung smiled gently, nodding a bit before tugging Jungkook closer by the back of his neck, and connecting their lips in a sweet kiss.

"Of course, Jungkookie ah. Take your time, alright? I'll worry about the food."

With one last smile and kiss, Jungkook left, leaving Taehyung alone in the kitchen. Or so he thought.
