Time felt like it was moving so damn quick for Kirishima as Bakugou's light hold on his wrist tugged him down the small pathway to the door. After trying the handle, Bakugou discovered it was unlocked, so he pulled Kirishima in with him.
Don't bother being shy because mom will make it a personal goal to get inside your head before you leave.
W-what‽
"Oi!" The blonde yelled into the house as he kicked off his shoes.
After Kirishima's shoes were removed too, Bakugou picked up his hand this time, giving the redhead a second to react to the fingers slotted through his before moving.
The blonde dragged him into the living room to see no one in there, but there were sounds coming from the kitchen so they began to head there.
Is it really okay to just walk in without any prior-
"It's about time, you brat! I was about to-" Mitsuki opened the kitchen door, seeing Kirishima before Bakugou.
It took her a second as she stopped in her tracks, looking from the colourful socks on his feet to the tallest spike of red hair. He tried to crack a smile though it was clearly nervous, showing off the teeth Mitsuki had heard described to her hundreds of times.
"Katsuki, maybe-" Masaru walked up behind her, also noticing the stranger stood hand in hand with his son.
"Hi!" Kirishima choked out, shoulders stiff as he swallowed. He regretted it immediately, thinking this was such an unmanly first impression, so he couldn't just leave it like that. "I'm Eijirou Kirishima! Sorry for just turning up out of nowhere," he laughed out, forcing himself to relax through the willpower to not make this awkward.
Katsuki was giving it his all not to laugh but that didn't mean that he wasn't nervous himself now. Neither of his parents had said a single thing, reacted at all. They were just stood, wide eyed, speechless.
Katsuki knew for a fact that if he'd given them time to prepare or any warning, they'd figure out what was going on immediately. He at least wanted it to be a surprise but was actually borderline regretting it now.
Katsuki, they hate me.
They don't fucking hate you, oh my god.
Then, only a second later, Mitsuki brought her hands up to her face and sobbed quietly into them, turning around to put her head onto Masaru's chest a few seconds later. He smiled as he pulled her in further. They were clearly communicating but it didn't help ease Kirishima's mind.
Besides the fact that the most beautiful open mouthed smile had appeared on his soulmate's face.
"If I'm intruding then-" Kirishima stepped back, hand from slipping from Bakugou's before Mitsuki suddenly turned back around to face them and marched the few steps towards him, a newfound determination on her face. It was reminiscent of her son's.
She suddenly wrapped her arms around the redhead's shoulders, pulling him in with a fair amount of force as she gripped, admittedly quite tight.
It took Eijirou a second to respond but once he did, his arms were wrapped around Mitsuki's back as he nestled his nose on her shoulder. They were both holding really tight but barely noticed.
After they had let go, Kirishima was in a bit of a state, tears now prickling his eyes too. That being said, he was in a complete mood that made him stomp to Masaru and pull the move Mitsuki had just done on him.
The man yelped a bit in surprise, but welcomed it completely.
"Welcome home," he whispered against Kirishima's ear, making him laugh a little bit in warm familiarity.
