(Fred's POV)

"Emily?" I asked.

She was dancing on a table, a half empty bottle of whisky in her hand and an empty one on the floor.

She turned upon hearing her name, and broke into a goofy grin when she saw us. She didn't even notice Angelina turning the music off.

"Guys! Come dance wif meeeee!" She pleaded; her words slurred.

She tried to step off the table but stumbled while doing so, I rushed forward and caught her before she fell to the floor.

"Thanks, Freddie boy!" She said, kissing my cheek.

"Em, are you ok?" George asked her.

"Nerra better." She responded, taking a swig from her bottle.

"Ok, I think you've had enough of that." I told her, taking the bottle from her and handing it to George. "How about we get you some water."

"Noooo! Freddie!" She complained, hitting my arm weakly.

"Come on." I said, lifting her over my shoulder. "I'm taking you to the kitchen."

"Oh really? And what are you gonna do to me when we get there?" She asked suggestively, her words still slightly slurred.

This made me blush, which George and Lee noticed, smiles creeping to their faces. I decided to brush it off and answer seriously.

"I'm going to sit you down and make you eat some food so that you have something to throw up later." I informed her.

"I'm not gonna throw up!" She argued.

I ignored her and walked down to the kitchens, Emily still over my shoulder, I tickled the pear in the painting which opened the door to the kitchens. I placed Emily in a chair telling her to stay there while I got the house elves to prepare some food for her.

"Freddie, come here!" She ordered me, pouting.

I returned with some food and placed it in front of her, handing her one of the sandwiches.

"Yes?" I asked.

"I have a secret." She told me in a whisper.

"And what might that be?" I asked, playing along with her childishness.

"I like someone, Fred." She told me, smiling shyly.

"Oh yeah? And who might that be?" I asked.

"Well, he's funny and smart and really cute." She rambled.

"Yeah? Well that's great, Em." I told her, slightly hurt by her words.

It's true, I had liked Emily for some time now. George and Lee would tease me about it all the time when she wasn't around because I had made the mistake of telling them.
