✦ Summary
Kestra Manning, nicknamed "Kes," dared to seek out the Well. Though most have fell in before getting a sample of the water, Kes expected herself to succeed. She, not unlike the others, fell in.
She discovers herself to have changed, and to be in a new world with a sky above her in the well. Kes has become introduced to the land in which the inhabitants call the Clear.
Kes finds out that everyone who falls down into the Well undergo a change. A change that allowed them to take on the trait of an animal, and gain a such power related to it. Of course there are exceptions, but Kes has yet to find out what it would be.
She meets a small clan of friends in the woods, who seem bent on escaping the Clear. They don't realize that it's harder than it looks...
