She said yes to the divorce. Her heart broke that moment. Her eyes fell to her wedding ring and a thought crossed her mind. She'll have to take it off now. After all this time her finger will be bare again. She wanted to start crying but she hold herself together in front of him. And in front of her family.
The only time she broke was when she was left alone in her room. She was sobbing for hours. Her mom tried multiple times to go to her but her brothers hold her back. And the truth was that she didn't want anyone next to her. Her pain was enough company.
She cried herself to sleep that night. But she woke up with a plan. A plan that requires help. She has a shower, changes and calls Volkan.
"You know that this is crazy right?" He asks questioning her sanity.
"I don't have anything to lose. Can you please help me? You get me the tickets and Kerem and I'll deal with the rest." She's determined, he can tell. And he doesn't know if it's because she's desperate or crazy. Whatever it is, he's in. For the sake of his friend.
Because Volkan was with his best friend last night. And his shape was far from good. He got drunk, he was crying, he was breaking things. So yeah, this is for both of them.
Ayse enlists Gonca too. She sets up the tickets date for tomorrow but with an hour difference, since Ayse will be there earlier, and she books a hotel next to the hot air balloon exhibition site. And now time for the hard task. Time to talk to Yelda and Muhsin.
"I want Kerem back, and I have a plan." She announces but she doesn't get to elaborate.
"Yes." Muhsin says without hesitation. "Whatever you want."
"But you didn't hear my plan....Maybe Mrs. Yelda doesn't want to..." and then she gets interrupted again, by Yelda this time.
"My son is miserable. And I grow fond of you, so tell us what you need us to do."
Her plan is simple. They have to send him to the airport and get him to fly to Cappadocia, for a client or something. They will tell him about the hotel and everything and she'll be here waiting for him. The rest is unknown for now.
She's waiting anxiously for the text message but all she gets is a big fat nothing. She knew that they will have hard time convincing him but this is getting too long. An hour later her phone buzzes and she jumps.
"All set. He's preparing his bag. Good luck." It's a simple text from Yelda but she knows she means every word she wrote. And then she starts jumping up and down like a teenager whose crush has accepted a date with her. A blind one yes, but still a date.
She didn't sleep that night. One part of her brain couldn't stop thinking what she will say to him- she even wrote them down- and the other was scared, scared of his rejection.
The time finally came and Riza drives her to the airport. "Don't come back alone." It's all he says and he kisses her forehead. And with that she runs to catch her flight.
