Hello everyone! I'm still not feeling amazing, but I wanted to get something out. So have this smaller chapter, almost like a teaser, right before we get into the sports festival.

Chapter 24

The moment she finally opened her eyes a burning sensation spread through her body. Groaning, she collected herself enough to raise her body out of bed. Feeling the small beads of sweat slowly drip down her arms onto the mattress.

Looking down on it her face scrunched up in disgust. The sheets had been turned a darker color from all the sweat that had been soaked into it through the night.

"I thought I took enough,"

She coughed out, looking to her dresser only to see the familiar pill bottle sitting there for her. Yesterday she had been perfectly fine with the normal dosage she took. Seeing so made her a bit worried as to why it suddenly wasn't enough.

After taking another 2 doses, which she only hoped wouldn't kill her, she finally got to sleep. But now seeing all the effects afterwards made her realize that it didn't work as well as she had planned. 

Feeling the moister in the room still coming towards her she swiftly stood up from her bed. Running over to the bottle and grabbing it in a tight grip. Gulping a few down she walked to her bathroom mirror. 

Staring at her reflection in the mirror she noticed the bags under her eyes. Even if she felt like she had slept the clear sign she hadn't laid on her face. Being shown off to anyone who would look her way.

"I can't miss today, I can't miss the sports festival"

She chanted to herself, splashing cold water onto her face before taking another few pills. The Alpha inside her was screaming at [F/n] to go and get relief from a anybody, preferably an Omega. A part of her desperately wanted to do just what her body wanted but she had known it wouldn't turn out well.

One of the only things she had missed about her old life. Knowing that she had someone that would be there for her at times likes these. But it wasn't what she truly wanted, only what she had needed at that time. Though slowly she's moving from that onto a new life.

And moments like these were, soon enough, going to be another day in life.

"How'd you know"

Before the girl could even get into school, she was bombarded with the sudden question from the lavender haired Omega. He stalked beside the girl as she continued forward, not missing a single beat as she took strides to get to school faster.

"Know what?"

She responded, trying to only get further away from the male and get into school. Knowing that the day ahead was going to be hard enough already without him pestering her from her earlier statements.

Seeing her reaction only sparked another flame in the male. Her words had bothered the Omega all the night before. Remembering how the previous night he let out small distressed chirps wondering if the girl had told anyone else about him.

"You know EXACTLY what I'm talking about"

The Omega got even closer to the girl, almost as if he had forgetting that being the rank he is his words would surely have no effect on the girl. She simply stared down at him as he got more and more fed up with her actions. Sure she had realized what he was talking about, but that didn't mean she was going to tell him about it.

Though after being close to the Alpha for another minute his nose was suddenly hit with an intoxicating scent. One that was mostly hidden behind her normal scent. After catching the small trace of it the boy quickly moved back a few steps, almost tripping over his own feet trying to back up too hastily.

"A rut-"

His voice came out a bit strained, trying to keep his distance from the girl now. Hearing the small words he had, somehow, managed to get out, the girl instinctively touched her backpack. The small bag held more pills inside of it in the case something like this had happened.

"If you don't say a word about this Omega, I'll tell you how I knew,"

"You sw-"

"I won't go back on my word, not if you don't say a thing to anyone"

[F/n]'s eyes were now more narrowed looking at Hitoshi. Sending a small shiver down the males spine, almost as if she wasn't asking him a question anymore. He could tell she was trying to use her ranking as leverage, and it was working more effectively than he wanted it to. Instead of answering her again he simply gave her a slight head bob. 

The little notion being more than enough for the girl to turn around and continue walking to school. Knowing she'd have to get through the rest of the day, one of the most important days of her school life, without letting anyone know about what was happening.

She realized that if anyone had found out, especially the teachers, she wouldn't be able to participate. Seeing as the small rut could cause an outrage with many different people at the school, and even those who are innocently watching in the stands.

"I will be at the top, and I WILL make sure my father sees."
