"I can't...n-not how I am now"

Her father spoke, his hand reaching out for the younger girl. The alpha's body looking rather skinny almost as if she hadn't been getting enough to eat. Getting up the girl walked towards her father. Only being the young age of 5 at the time.
"Yes, Dad?"
"You and I girl, we're Alphas, top of the world. You know that don't you?"
She flinched when he was only about an inch or two away from her face. The heavy smell of alcohol took hold of his breath. Something that she always hated about her father.
"Yes"
"And you know what happened to your mother and brother right?"
Them again, the two family members that she still had yet to see. Actually she wasn't allowed to see anyone other than her father. Her mothers side of the family was a complete mystery to her along with her fathers. This man was the only person she could trust in her life. And even then she still felt uncertain about that.
