Chapter 42

╘═════════

The girl honestly had no clue what to do. Walking out the small door she looked back one more time as the camera had fallen to the floor. A clear result of the high winds she sent at it so no one could stop her from leaving.

She saw now point in being there anymore. It was obvious that Aizawa had said what he wanted to and it was the full truth. He didn't believe in her, he said it so clearly that it left nothing to the imagination.

No hoping that he was lying. No smirk in his face to show that he was just teasing her. It was serious, she now knew that.

'What if I called...'

The Alpha felt her hand twitch. Quickly reaching down into her pocket only to feel nothing, her phone had been taken. Whether it was Aizawa himself or those who brought her here she didn't know. All she did was that it wasn't with her, leaving her with no option to call someone.

"Don't you understand what needs to happen?"

[F/n] suddenly paused when she heard a familiar voice in the hallway. Her eyes moving towards a slightly ajar door that was only a few feet away from her. She bent down and began crawling over making as little noise as possible.

"I assure you Aizawa-"

"No. I always have to deal with these types of students and what always happens in the end? They all end up flunking, getting expelled, or not making it past a serious mission"

Her brows went down the moment she realized they were talking about her. Then again there wasn't anyone else that the man ever seemed to get so upset over.

"Nezu I understand you want to help the kids, but you can't help them all"

A lost cause, that's what he was calling her. Putting her out onto the table as someone who couldn't be helped any further. All those small moments that the teacher seemed to be happy with her and proud of her vanished.

If it was all just a set up she didn't understand why they allowed her to stay in the first place. They should've kicked her out onto the street instead of building up her own hopes. She knew that becoming a hero would be hard, especially for her, but it seemed impossible with the conditions that had been continuously laid down in front of her.
