Draco awoke, feeling grumpy. Well of course, it was Monday. He sighed then got up to go have a shower. Once he was done, he wrapped a towel around his lower body. Suddenly he froze. He saw the door slowly slide open to reveal a tired hermione. She looked up at him and blushed, redder then weasleys hair. "Oh my gosh, I am so sorry....I didn't know." He noticed her eyes looking down and he smirked. "What Are you looking at?" She looked up instantly, obviously startled by his question. "N..nothing." She stuttered. Draco laughed. "Sure." He said sarcastically. She smiled and he left the bathroom, still laughing to himself. As he entered the great hall, he noticed Hermione sitting at the Gryffindor table, laughing with potter, weasel and weaslette. He frowned, suddenly wishing he was the one making her face light up like that. 'No.' He thought. 'no way.' When he sat down at his table, he noticed Blaise staring at him weirdly. "What?" He scowled. Blaise still stared. "Why were you staring at the gryffindor table?" Draco felt himself turning red. "I...I wasn't." He looked unconvinced. "Yes you were. You were staring at granger." He thought his face now looked like a tomato. "Draco." Blaise said. "You can tell me mate." Draco was confused. What would he tell Blaise? He definitely like hermione, no matter how much he told himself he didn't. But he couldn't tell Blaise. " I just....hate sharing a room with her. I was looking at the mudblood in disgust." He hated saying it, but he had to. Blaise still looked curious, but pansy sat down before he could ask anymore questions. "Draco." She started. "You haven't talked to me since the ball. I....I miss you." Draco rolled his eyes. "Parkinson, can't you get it through your head that I don't like you, or is all the make up covering up your brain?" She turned red with fury and stormed off. "Nice one." Theodore nott said from across the table, giving him a high-five. All throughout breakfast, he chatted, laughed and scowled, but nothing could take his mind off a girl he was supposed to be enemies with.
Hermione smiled as she left for her first class. She loved it. As she entered the transfiguration class room, she saw pansy Parkinson playing with dracos hair and batting her eyelashes. Draco looked like he wanted to murder her, but she still felt a weird feeling in the pit of her stomach. She only noticed she was staring when ginny came up and looked at her curiously. "Why were you staring at the ferret?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. Hermione blushed. "Mione" ginny whispered as they took their usual seats. ".You share a common room with him.....your not.....falling for him...are you?" Hermione felt a weird feeling. Did she like Draco? He had been her enemy since their first year, that couldn't all change in a few weeks....could it? "No." She said finally. "There is no way I'd like that self centred prat." She meant not one word, but what she didn't know was that a certain boy with platinum blonde hair and pearcing grey eyes was listening to her every word.
