Briar POV

Sunlight starts peaking through a gap in the curtains, hitting me right in the eye. I squint my eyes open and glance around the room. Its a boys room; a strangers room. Everything's a blur, my head is pounding and I can't quite remember much from last night. I turn my head and look at the guy sleeping beside me and everything starts flooding back into my memory.

Myles.

He seems relaxed and so at peace. Unlike me, my nerves are starting to pick up the messages from my brain that had been temporarily blocked out from the tons of alcohol I had drunk last night. You know that feeling you get when you've gotten what you wanted but then suddenly feel extrememly guilty about it? I'm so stupid. I just cheated on my abusive boyfriend; if he ever finds out about this he'll surely kill me.

Who's room is this anyways? Cause it ain't mine and doubt that its Myles'. It must be whoever's house the party was at. Someone from the football team ... oh god; if its someone who's on the team they're gonna know that I slept with Myles and probably tell Devon. I groan, what have I gotten myself into.

Last night was the most fun night of my life. But today's a different story... and I'm about to do the walk of shame. I quickly grab my clothes off the ground and quietly put them on. I manage to fix myself up a bit by combing out my hair with my fingers and flattening out my dress. I ignore the fact that my makeup has smudged all over my face from last night. I tiptoe out of the room and let out a sigh of relief as I head downstairs. I'm about to head out the front door when I hear a voice from behind me.

"Goodmorning." Isaiah smirks at me. "Great night last night wasn't it?"

I roll my eyes. "Hey ... look please don't-"

"Don't tell Devon?" He raises his eyebrows. My heart starts to race; if he tells him then I'm screwed. "Don't worry about it. Myles is my boy, you're a friend and I know that Devon doesn't treat you right."

"So you're not gonna tell him?" I ask, hopeful.

"No, I won't tell no one about this." He promises me.

"Thank you." I smile and let out a sigh. "Was that your room that we were in?"

"Yep, I'll be sure to clean the sheets." He screws up his nose and I laugh, embarrassed. "Is Myles still up there?"

"Yeah he's still asleep, but he'll be waking up soon and I don't really wanna be here when he does." I say, gesturing towards the door.

"Right, that could be awkward." Isaiah laughs, finding the situation quite amusing. "I'll see you at school."

"Byeee and thank you." I smile and leave.

I walk all the way back home extremely fast, not wanting to be seen by anyone. I walk into my house and go up to my room and get in the shower wanting to wash all the makeup off my face and get into bed and sleep again and forget that today ever happened.
