To forgive and to laugh
When I find myself unworthy.
You are much stronger than I.
This beating heart aches when you are near
For your love is cast on something dirty.
What am I to say to show my gratitude?
To explain the way this organ stops and starts?
Who am I to be so loved that I am forgiven so quickly?
Who are you to love and forgive such disrespect?
My feeble heart is mangled and my thoughts scattered like the stars.
What is this bond that ties us together?
This link I cannot comprehend?
Perhaps one day I will smile at you in understanding,
Knowing that I have found true love in you.
