Chapter 28

"Noonaaaaaaa!" A yell echoed through The Cottage. Both Aerin and Miki looked up to see Jungkook come bouncing through the door.

"Me?" Miki asked.

"Nope. Aerin noona, can you please go wake Yoongi hyung up? We're meant to be having a meeting soon but I'm pretty sure he's sleeping in his room."

"So? Just knock on the door. He's not a deep sleeper." Aerin answered, puzzled by the request.

"No way. He's scary when he gets woken up. His swear words get creative. You do it."

"What are you talking about? Yoongi is the sweetest when he wakes up." Aerin said. She heard Jungkook and Miki laughing as she walked out of the room.

A few weeks had passed since Aerin was discharged from the hospital. And it had been a blissful few weeks, with Aerin and Yoongi picking up right where they had left off. At first Aerin tried to hold herself back but Yoongi reacted by giving more of himself, by being more affectionate, constantly reminding her that he loved her, spending his free time with her and by always prioritizing her. It didn't take long for Aerin to dive headfirst back into the relationship and she couldn't be happier about it.

Yoongi spent the first few days cooking up a storm and feeding her to make up for her recent weight loss. She complained about getting fat, but she knew that was how he showed his love and she felt so cherished. Aerin had forced Yoongi to leave The Cottage by sharing her enthusiasm for long drives to the coast, exploring new neighbourhoods and checking out events around town. He complained about being her driver but he loved that she was sharing her interests with him. She was the cutest when she was excited about these things and he would never tire of watching her be happy. They were completely different people, but they were good for each other.

They had yet to spend a night from each other since their reunion. They split their time between The Cottage and her apartment. They love the boys and spending time with them, but they both enjoyed the solitude of the apartment, especially now that Miki was also spending more time at The Cottage with Namjoon. In that aspect, they were similar. They both needed their quiet time and personal space to enjoy their own company.

When she walked into Yoongi's room, he was asleep on his side, with arms and legs sprawled all over the bed. She could just make out his side face  profile, covered under his ruffled hair. He's so cute. 

Aerin lifted his arm and slid underneath it so that she was fully pressed against him. He stirred a little but kept his eyes closed. She nuzzled into his neck and dropped a line of kisses from his collar bone to his lips. She thought he was still asleep so let out a yelp of surprise when he suddenly sprung up and flipped her so that she was on her back and he lying on top of that.

"Morning." Yoongi said as he returned the favor and nuzzled her neck.

"Hi Suga." Aerin arched her neck to give him better access. She shuddered when he nibbled on a particularly sensitive spot. "Wait, I was actually sent here to wake you up because of your meeting with the boys."

Yoongi lifted his head and arched his brows. "Who sent you?"

"JK. Apparently they're all scared to wake you up. I don't know why, I'm very much enjoying waking you up."

"I don't go around kissing the boys when they wake me. And I don't want to see their ugly mugs first thing in the morning either. Your face though, is a sight for sore eyes." He said with a smile.

"Stop with your sweet nothings. You gotta get up and go to your meeting."

Yoongi dipped his head back down and resumed his assault on her neck and this time his hand crept up to caress her breasts. "You kissed me first. Don't start something you can't finish, babe." He mumbled against her neck.

Aerin moaned from the pleasure of his touch. "OK but you better make this a quickie."

Yoongi raised his hand to give her a salute and said, "Yes M'am."

Aerin giggled in response and dragged his head up so that she could plant a kiss on his lips. True to his word, he brought her to a climax in record time. He always knew just what to do to get her there.

After they showered, they walked hand in hand to the office. The boys were already in the conference room waiting for him, Jin tapping his imaginary watch in an exaggerated manner to let him know he was late. Behind him, Taehyung and Jimin pretended to be locked in a passionate embrace to tease Yoongi and Aerin, who were both stifling their laughter.

"Those clowns. I guess I better go. So what's the plan today?"

"It's a sunset ceremony so maybe we leave here at about 4? And then the wedding reception follows straight after the ceremony so we can just go straight there."

The friend whose hen's night Aerin and Miki had attended weeks ago was getting married that day, and they were bringing Yoongi and Namjoon as their dates, naturally.

"OK. So what will you do til then?" Yoongi asked.

"Just hanging out with Miki. We'll probably go out for lunch and then get ready together."

Yoongi nodded. "I'll miss you." He said as they shared a kiss.

Just then they heard banging on the door as Jin not-so-subtly reminded them the boys were waiting.

"Love you." Aerin whispered.

"Love you more."
