We kept on making side comments in class when the door opened.
Miss Anne looked please to see who came in because the next thing she did was introduce him.
"Everybody meet Harry, Harry Styles he would be joining us for the rest of the year"
Like the year wasn't about to end. I decided to ask questions later.
He walked to the seat next to Michelle and sit there, literally everybody was staring at him. Miss Anne clears her throat to gain everyone's attention back.
I don't hear shit she says bc Wren was in the group chat bugging Chloe.
Wren: Chloe I see the way you look at fresh papi seems you've found the mr right
The day I met Harry at the mall I didn't tell the girls bc I found it irrelevant and I didn't tell them anything at the party too.
Chloe: oh please. He's cute and tall but I don't see myself walking into him anytime soon.
Keely: can you guys listen to miss Anne
Wren: even her can't listen to herself. She's looking at him too.

This was the first time I've ever said Harry even if it was in a text it felt weird to me

I didn't even notice the class had ended till everyone was leaving .
The expression on Wren's face makes me look up and I see Harry walking towards us.
I put my stuff into my backpack and start a conversation with Keely.
" what college are you going to?"
" Stanford"
"Ooh you'd go all the way?"
"Yeah, my mum wants me to"
"Nice, I'm so surprised looks like none of us are going to the same college"
"Where are you going?"

We laughed, when I looked up he was talking to Chloe.
Wren wink at us and say "Mr Right"
I don't know why but I feel some kind of way.
Later we head to lunch, Chloe can't stop smiling and saying how cute he was.
" he had this accent one I didn't know exactly but it was masculine and sexy"
I roll my eyes and check my phone for notifications as if the only people I ever chatted with were not sitting with me.
Then I go on Ig and star at my page blankly I've got so many follow requests.
"He asked if I wanted to see a movie"
I looked up at Chloe with disbelief, Wren again "tell me you said yes"
"Of course I'm going on a date"
"Awwn finally " I say I was starting to feel selfish to not be happy for my best friend she was going on her first date. He was just being friendly it was not like he was flirting with me there's nothing between us. Really I'm happy for her, I haven't seen this part of her before.
I focused on my food and since I had nothing after that I said bye to the girls and went home.
I saw my dad's car in the driveway I'm so happy he's hardly home. I run inside and start looking for him.
I found him in the kitchen an apron around his waist which I find very funny I run up behind him and hug him.
"How was Africa?"
"Great baby" he turns and look at me." Someone is growing so fast" he says making me laugh.
My dad is like the brother I never had butsince he's rarely around how would they give me one.
"What are you making?"
"You might just have to wait for it"
The thing about having a black dad is , I'm slightly brown and very cute, I've got nappy curls, and he cooks great.
"Alright, I'll go freshen up. When is mum coming?"
"Soon"
With that I jog up the stairs and take a long bath. When my family was complete there was hardly any other thing on my mind.
I have successful parents my dad owns a video game company and literally all boys play video games that's why I have a Bentley and my mum is an accountant she works for Mac and Mindy.
So having them around feels inspiring only I still think about Chloe . I loved her and I didn't like that boy for her, he could be playing her, he could break her heart. At this point I hate him but if he's going to be seeing her then I have to be cool with him.
I'm glad nobody knows we know each other so it's a new start.
I changed into a Big Bang black T-shirt and and a blue satin bikers shirt.
Pulling all my hair into one tight ponytail I decided to focus on my family.
When I go down for dinner my mum was back. She looked so happy yeah we're all happy.
My dad made spicy jollof rice, crunchy chicken and plantain.
I remembered when grandma Lola was around she always forced me to call it dodo. She said plantain makes it sound like something else it's dodo and pakere for plantain chips the thought of it alone makes me laugh.
I love dinner since I hardly get to eat spicy food. I'm always on my mum low calories and junk food she says oil is not healthy but I still go and put it in my body through junks.
After dinner I stayed downstairs and helped do the dishes with my mum, while my dad was on the couch watching whatever on his phone.
When I was done I went upstairs to do my history assignment with my avocado face mask on I had history tomorrow.
I text the girls goodnight at eleven and slept off after washing my face.
