"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry," I say as I peek around the door.

My heart nearly stops when I see who's on the other side. Damien Haas. Not that I ever told anyone, especially Charleigh, but I had a bit of a crush on him. I had always thought he was cute in the videos but it was just a crush. Or so I thought. Looking up at him as he looked back at me, the world seemed to slow. Only one word came to mind, only one word that I find. Amazed. Seeing him, face to face, something was different. Maybe it was more than a crush.

"It's okay, don't worry, it happens," he gives me a reassuring look.

"I'm still so sorry," I managed to stutter out, still stunned from seeing him.

"Hey, you didn't even hit me that hard. I promise," he gives me a smile.

My heart is beating a million times a minute. My mind has gone completely blank. I can't think of what to say. He's smiling at me. Me. He has the most amazing smile and - and I hit him with a door! Shit. Somehow, it never occurred to me that I would see him, much less hit him with a door. Before I figure out what to say, I hear someone come over and stand beside me.

"Everything okay? I heard a thump," Charleigh says.

"I was going after you and I accidentally swung the door open too fast and hit him," I stumble through my sentence and hide my face in my hands.

"Don't even worry about it, I'm just fine," he laughs a bit. "People say I apologize a lot, you might just have me beat."

"This is my twin sister, Ember, by the way. She was just hired here for the month to help with Winter Games cause I'm leaving and they need extra help," Charleigh explained.

"Yeah, I could've sworn you seemed different. I mean, cause it wasn't you," he explains. "Why are you leaving?"

Charleigh explains her situation, that she was offered a position for a job at a company she's always wanted to work for.

"Congratulations, Charleigh! I'm happy for you, that sounds like a really great opportunity," he tells her sincerely.

"Yeah, thank you. I'm so excited," she replies.

"Well, it was nice to meet you, Ember, and congrats again Charleigh, but I am nearly late for filming," he says as he begins to walk away. He turns back and looks at me, "And please don't worry about the door!"

I give him a shy smile as he turns again and walks away. As soon as he disappears around the corner, Charleigh turns to me giving me a look.

"You like him, why didn't you tell me? How long have you liked him?" she tells me, half joking, half serious.

"Is it that obvious?"

"Not to him but to me!"

"Okay, I didn't tell you because I didn't think it was serious."

"Well clearly, that's not the case," she laughs.

I put my head in my hands again. This is going to be an interesting month.
