I got settled into Charleigh's place and we spent the rest of the night watching a movie.

"So, now that you're settled in, do you have a plan for what you're gonna do?" Charleigh asked.

"I dunno really," This was kind of a quick decision. "I think I'm gonna look for some jobs online tomorrow. I have absolutely no idea what I actually want to do."

"You should go work for Smosh," she joked.

"I wish. You had basically the coolest job ever."

"It was cool. I'm really gonna miss it."

I remember all the fun stories she had told me about working for Smosh. It sounded like a great job with great people. Plus, all the behind the scenes work always interested me. It was cool to know about all the hard work that goes into the finished product you get to watch. But I doubt they would want to hire me, I didn't really have any experience and I didn't want to take my sister's old job, it might be weird for the company and her coworkers.

As I get ready for bed, I feel genuinely excited for the first time in awhile. I feel like something good is coming. I don't know what it is, but I'm ready for it.

I wake up to my phone ringing. Half asleep, I reach over and pick up the phone. I see its my sister.

"What's up," I say groggily.

"Ember, hi. Sorry for waking you up but can you come to the Smosh office?" she sounds excited.

"Why?"

"Please just come, I'll explain when you get here. It's nothing bad, I promise."

"Why do I have to go there? Why can't you tell me now?"

I'm still a bit disoriented from just waking up as she babbles on.

"Please come here? I'll pay for your Lyft."

After a bit more convincing, I agree. I'm already an anxious person and her making me go somewhere I've never been and not telling me why isn't exactly helping. However, she is my sister and I did promise. I have no clue on what she needs me there for. Only one way to find out, I guess.

After getting ready and taking a Lyft to the Smosh office, I am outside the door, calling my sister. She hasn't yet picked up and the door is locked so I can't get in. I've called her three times and I'm starting to panic when the door suddenly opens. I see a blond guy who I recognize as Shayne from many of the videos.

"Oh, hey Char...leigh," he starts excitedly but slows down into confusion after looking directly at me. He gives me a puzzled look, "You're not Charleigh."

"That is correct." I grinned at him as he tries to piece it together.

"Twins! I remember her saying she had a twin!" He looks at me triumphantly.

"You got it. I'm Ember." I laugh.

"I'm Shayne. It's cool to officially meet you, Charleigh talks about you a lot."

"I wish she would talk to me now. She called me and told me to come here, but hasn't answered the calls I've made since I arrived."

"I think she's in a meeting with Matt and Ian. I can bring you to her in a second. I came out here to get my charger from my car, I'll be right back." I see him sprint around the building out of sight.

I send Charleigh a few texts and by the time I'm done, Shayne is back. He opens up the door and we head inside.
