CHAPTER 1: THE MANDALORIAN◈━◈━◈━◈━◈━◈━◈━◈
The circular door to the cantina opened with a loud 'shink' of metal sliding in and out of place as the sharp whistling of the frigid air bit at their heels. Neytiris ears twitched at the unpleasant sound. She stepped into the wide circular room slowly, ducking slightly to get through the round entrance, and followed behind the Mandalorian. He had stopped for a moment in the doorway and she was a second away from simply pushing him inside when he finally moved so she instead settled for a tired and irritated sigh. The Na'vi had learned that he was surprisingly one for the dramatics.
Even if he refused to admit it.
She stuck by his side closely as she examined the room carefully. It was filled to the brim with beings off all different species that all seemed to hold the same nasty look in their eyes as their gaze followed the two bounty hunters as they made their way to the bar. The woman's tail flickered as her tongue ran across her sharp vampiric canines. She wasn't nervous but she kept herself loose and ready for a fight. It always seemed to come to that.
Neytiris yellow eyes snapped toward a fish like blue being as he shifted nervously. She took a seat on a barstool and watched him. She rested her elbow on the counter and then her chin her her open palm. He was being held tightly by a tall bulky creature that leered at her and Mando while several of his companies crowded around him and the blue alien. She watched as the men's gaze flickered down to the table. His drink had been knocked over in the scuffle, its contents spilled across the table and floor. A smirk stretched across his lips.
The man called out to them in a gruff voice and said something in a language that Neytiri didn't quite understand. She guessed Husett. The stranger, now more aggravated and ready for a fight, stepped away from his group to lean against the bar beside the Mandalorian. He repeated what he had said before but more forcefully. Neytiri ignored him as she searched through the pockets of her jacket for her bounty puck. The weathered old man behind the bar translated for them as Mando joined her side and took a seat. His beskar shimmered in the low lamp light, visor dark and emotionless. Nothing but a void.
"He says you spilled his drink" The elders voice was strained as his gaze flickered between the trio before a 'thump' came from behind them. The tall woman glanced over her shoulder sharply. The group had let go of the blue alien and for a moment she watched him flounder of the ground as the old man spoke again as he reached for a new glass.
"Its fine. It's on me" His voice was strained and tight, body wound with nerves, as he began to fill a new cup with the same drink. Neytiri drummed her fingers against the bar slowly.
