We arrive at school and Ash parks the car. As I start to get out he grabs my arm.
"What Ash??" I asked already annoyed with him.
"We have to go over some rules."
"Like what? What 'rules' do we have to go over?"
"One, stay away from my mates. You can be friends with their sisters but not them"
"Why would I hang out with or talk to your mates or even you at school?"
"Who knows?" He thinks for a while. "Also, stay away from Jared at all times. He is bad news for everyone. Especially girls. If you get involved with him, you're not safe. Do you hear me?"
"Yes I hear you... Can I go now?"
"No, wait." He digs around on the floor then sits up once again. "Here is some lunch money. You can go off campus but you gotta find your own ride." He hands me the money then jumps out of the car. He jogs over to a group of guys, must be his mates. I start to exit the car and shut the door but realize he forgot to lock it, wow. What an idiot! I lock the door and make my way across the parking lot. What I least expected happened. Ashton called me over to him.... I thought I was told to leave him alone. I walk to him and he starts to laugh.
"Someone looks lost."
"Well I am new here so what can you expect?"
A boy with crazy brown hair started laughing as well.
"Aw how cute" he laughs. I furrow my eyebrows. What does he mean by cute? He must have known I was thinking that because he continued. "That you're new and lost. Um anyways you know you can hang out with my sister. She's over there." He points over to a girl with dark hair who is sitting against a tree with a book in hand. She had stunning blue eyes from what I could see.
"My sister is here as well, I think you two would be good friends." I look up to see a gorgeous boy with a perfect quiff. He has stunning blue eyes and a lip piercing as well. I get snapped back into reality when he starts to yell to a girl who begins to make her way over to us. Just then the brown haired boy does the same. Soon both girls are in the group and Ash starts to do introductions.
"Hey okay so I'm Ashton aka Ash to the girls who don't know and this is my younger sister Tera." I awkwardly smile and wave.
"I'm Michael or Mikey and this is my sister Emily" the brown haired boy says.
"I'm Luke, just Luke... And this is my sister Hailey." His voice is as perfect as him.
"I'm Calum.." Says a boy standing by who I now know is Michael. I didn't even realize he was there. "I don't have a younger sister so yeah..." He trails off.
Suddenly Ash pulls me to him. "See that guy over there?" He asks. I nod in response. Wow, he is gorgeous. There are so many cute guys here, I love high school.
"Don't get involved with him. That's Jared"
"He's cute.." I whisper to myself. I guess Ash heard because he started freaking out.
"No!!!!! I don't think so! Stay. Away. From. Him."
"Okay. I. Will." I look at his friends who are watching us and I walk away. I turn around and look at the group just staring at me. "It's very nice to meet you all." And with that I walk away and head to my first class.
-10 minutes later-
I enter my first class after 10 minutes of being lost. I look up at the board and there is a seating chart. A seating chart? That is so elementary school! I didn't even have those in middle school. How ridiculous. I find my name and glance around the empty classroom. I sit next to the window in the back of the classroom. I try to find who sits next to me and see who's in the class. No one I know is in this class but there is a boy named Luke who sits beside me according to the chart. That name sounds oddly familiar. After about 3 minutes of awkward lonely silence kids start to pile into the classroom, finding their seats, throwing their stuff down, and talking to friends. I just ignore all the noise and begin to draw on a piece of paper that was sitting on my desk. I hear a boy clear his voice so I glance up at him to see what he wants.
"May I help you?" I say glancing up. Its the boy from earlier. Not Jared but the other one. I never caught his name. I was to distracted by him.
"A-are you um T-t-tera?" He starts to fidget.
"Yes I am" he smiles and sits down beside me. "And you should have known that. We met earlier." I laugh. Then again I didn't know his name... At least now I do.
"I um, well you see I. Let me restart. I was kinda distracted . I never caught your name when Ash said it." I wonder what he was distracted by. I think he was staring at Emily, that would be so cute.
"Hey its cool, I was just um messing with you." I start to draw again and I start seeing everyone leave the class.
"Where is everyone going?" I ask Luke as he starts to leave as well.
"The teacher didn't show up before 30 minutes of class went on so we can leave. You coming or not?" I grab my paper and pencil and walk out with Luke. I decide to break the silence between us.
"So what do you think of Emily?" I ask him.
"Emily? She's great. Been friends for a while now. Not as long as with Mikey of course but a good amount of time."
"Just friends then?" I ask. He starts to laugh and nods.
"I'll catch ya later." He begins to walk away. I feel someone grab my arm and drag me into a janitors closet then slams the door shut. It is pitch black but I feel the person's breath on my neck... Oh no....
