•TERA'S POV•

Me and Luke go sit down in the cafeteria and he sits there hugging me and rubbing my back as we both begin to drift off into sleep until the bell rings startling us. We both sit up in shock the realize what is happening. I pull my schedule out of my backpack and look to see what my next class is. Mr. Wilkinson for math, classroom number 127. How in the world am I supposed to find that? It'll take me forever.

"Hey Luke, do you know where room 127 is?" I ask glancing up hopefully at him. He looks confused, just great!

"Who's the teacher?" He asks with a laugh.

"Huh?"

"Who teaches the class? I memorize where the teachers are, not the room numbers." He laughs again and stands up. He holds out his hand and once I grab it he pulls me up towards him, and quite forcefully I might add.

"Oh right! Its Wilkinson for math." I giggle awkwardly.

"Yeah but let's hurry. We can have you being late, can we?" We run until we reach room 127. He hands me a small torn piece of paper. "Text me. Wilkinson is cool, you can be on your phones as long as he isn't instructing" he glances around and runs off down the hall. I walk in and class hasn't started yet. Barely made it. I go and sit in the back of the class, it's pretty nice back here. Suddenly the chair beside me screeches against the tile floor and a boy throws himself into it. He has his hood on covering his face so I can't tell who it is but he seems like bad news so I should probably stay away from him. I unfold the piece of paper Luke gave me and typed his number into my phone.

Hey, its Tera xx

-Lukeeee

-Meeeeee

What's up? xx

-Lukeeee

Sitting in the hall wby?

-Meeeeee

Why in the hall? xx

-Lukeeee

Got in trouble. Was late to class..

-Meeeeee

I'm so sorry! It's all my fault... xx

-Lukeeee

It's fine..... Anything for you. It's not that big a deal anyways just doing my work all alone in a hall. The horror!!

-Meeeeee

I still feel bad xx

-Lukeeee

Aw please don't love! I'll meet you outside your class once it ends. I'm taking you out to lunch. I need to talk to you anyways.

-Meeeeee

Aw that's so sweet!! See you soon. xx

I set my phone down and the boy beside me laughs.

"What?" I feel clueless, did I miss something?

"You did all your work? And now you're texting. At least you balance out the good and bad." He laughs once again. His voice. It sounds like the voice from the closet. The one who was messing with me. I need to find out who's behind the hood.

"What's your name?" I try to sound friendly but inside I am angry, like touch-me-and-I'll-kick-you-where-the-sun-doesn't-shine angry.

"Not important. Never will be important." And with that the hooded boy stands up and walks out of the classroom.
