It had now been around six months since Monty asked me to be his girlfriend again. I had been the happiest version of myself since then and I genuinely couldn't have ask for a better boyfriend.
Currently, I had just woken up and was waiting for the girls to come over. It was my birthday and we were all planning to have a party at Bryce's to celebrate. All I wanted right now was one of Montys tight hugs and a kiss but he was busy all day until later on in the evening. As I sat waiting, a text popped up in the group chat with the girls.

Jess💙 Sorry for the short notice but something has came up and I can't hang out today.
Abi🥀 Don't worry about it, are Hannah and Sheri still up for meeting?
Sheri🧡 Sorry I should've messaged earlier, I woke up feeling really sick this morning so I'm not going to be able to make it

Hannah💜 I'm really sorry, my dad won't let me go out now because he wants me to finish my homework before going out this evening

I groaned as I dropped my phone onto my bed, I shouldn't have been annoyed at the girls but I was quite excited to see them today and now I had nothing to do all day, until this evening. We were all going to spend the day watching movies together and eating junk food. Slouching back into the crease of my bed, I closed my eyes for a second, trying to process all of my feelings.
