Summer (I Can't Go Further Without You.)

Chapter 7: A Night In Town.

I locked the door as i left my room and walked towards the reception to meet Archie. When i arrived he was already there and let me just say that he looked gorgeous. He was wearing a short sleeved shirt with that palm trees all over them which made my pants match with his shirt. He was wearing short blue jeans and some nikes.

"Hey!" He greeted me. "You look... cool." It was kinda dark so luckily he couldn't see me blushing right now. "Same for you." I answered. He nodded and we started walking towards the exit of the hotel. The moon and the starts had appeared in the now dark sky , in the background you could hear the waves that hit the rocks and it smelled like sea water all around them.

"I don't know about you but im starving." Archie said as he stepped on a electronic step. "Wait , are we going in town with those steps?" I asked unsure. He looked towards me. "Yeah , i can't use a car cause I don't have a drivers license." I looked to the ground. I was afraid cause I didn't know how to use these.

"Hey if you are afraid we can both get on one step and i will ride." Archie smiled.  "Really?" I asked him. He nodded and got on the step and he made a sign to me to get on it too. "Put your hands on my shoulders or my waist and grab tightly." Archie said. I did as he said and then he started the step.

When we started moving for some reason I panicked and ended up hugging Archie instead the whole way towards the center of town as my head rested at his back. He didn't seem to mind though.

"Kevin I've stopped driving for five minutes now, you can release yourself." Archie chuckled. I looked up confused and he was right. The step wasn't moving anymore and we were at a parking lot. "Sorry." I said as i quickly releases myself from him and got off the step. He just smiled. We left the step and started walking in the center of the town.

It was full of people , some were just walking , some where eating something while walking, others where shopping and a majority were also enjoying the street musicians. We walked till we found a grill place named passepartou. I didn't really know how to pronounce that but me and Archie got inside because they made pita gyro.

At the table next to us where two teens , a boy and a girl that looked like siblings that had just finished eating. "Im still hungry." The boy said. The girl that was younger than him rolled her eyes. "Please Kosta , you ate two pita's already. That's enough. I want to go for an ice cream now."

The tall boy sighed and stood up with his sister, he checked me and Archie out for a little before they walked outside. After that me and Archie ordered and i ordered a pita gyro with Gyro , french fries , onions and mayonnaise inside.

Surprisingly it was pretty delicious. "Hmmm" Archie moans slightly in pleasure. "It tastes good." I said taking another bite. When we were finished i was about to pay but Archie stopped me. "I told you to come here with me so its my treat." He said.

"No, you don't need to pay for me! I haven't treated you anything." I said shyly. Archie smiled. "You can treat me an ice cream later." He winked and then turned around to pay. If he only knew what he did to me every time he winked at me. I touched my pants a little trying to change the positioning cause they were getting a little uncomfortable.

"Are you ready?" Archie asked as he walked back at our table. I nodded while grabbing my things and standing up. "Good let's go." He said.

We started walking among the crowd of people in the street that was full of shops. Archie bought me a necklace that had a star on it. "For our summer friendship." He said as he handed me the necklace. And I bought him a necklace with a moon on it so that we could match.

We walked for an half hour till we stopped at an ice cream shop and I bought us some ice cream. I took one ball Vanilla and one ball Cookies , meanwhile Archie took one ball stracciatella and one ball cheesecake. When we payed we got back outside.

"Let me taste a little." Archie said and before i could say anything he licked a little of my ice cream. "Delicious." He smiled and then brought his ice cream closer to my mouth. "Want to taste?" He asked me. I nodded. "Sure." And i licked a little of his ice cream that was also delicious. What i would give though to lick his lips instead.

"Love it." I said and smiled as we went and sat on a bench to eat the rest of our ice creams. There were many hot boys passing by but i could only focus on Archie. I started at him as he licked his ice cream. Even when he licks his ice cream he just looks so hot meanwhile i looked like a fool. Or so I thought.

"We need to return back to the hotel." Archie said while looking at his phone. "Time went by fast , its almost eleven before midnight!" Archie exclaimed as he stood up. I finished my ice cream and then we walked all the way back towards the parking lot where we had left the step.

Like before Archie got on it first and i grabbed a hold of his shoulders and no , this time I didn't hug him because i was sure that we wouldn't crash or anything.

Archie parked the step next to the hotel and we both walked inside in the reception. There was no sign of Alex , his shift had probably ended. It was pretty quiet inside the hotel at this hour.

"I had an awesome day with you Kevin, i hope we can repeat this again." Archie said while looking right into my eyes. I couldn't help but smile. "Thanks you too." I answered.

He came a little closer and grabbed my necklace. "You know why i chose the star for you?" He asked me. I shook my head. "Because you shine like a star when you smile." Archie said.

I didn't know how to react. My heart started beating faster and we both just stood there for a little looking at each other while the only sounds was us breathing. A noise a little further from the pool made us wake up from the little trance we both had , Archie let go of my bracelet.

"I need to go now, Goodnight." He said. He hugged me and then walked away.

"Goodnight." I whispered with the biggest grin on my face. Im pretty sure though that i was the only one that heard that whisper.
