Summer (I Can't Go Further Without You.)

Chapter 9: Under The Rainy Sky.

"My garage is the perfect place to dance , dance." I sang loudly as i was trying to find my swimsuit. Today my dad and Mr. Andrews were going on a trip so i could spend some time with Archie without worrying that my dad would approach us.

"So come over!" I continued singing. It was actually funny because i was singing one of my favorite childhood songs. A knock on my door made me stop. "Who is there ?" I asked as i tried to find my boxers now because did i mention that i was naked?

"Alex from the reception." I heard his familiar strict voice behind the door. I rolled my eyes. "Im not here!" I said. I finally saw my swimsuit so i put it on. Alex knocked again on the door.

I angrily walked towards the door "what do you not get when i say that im not here?" I asked but instead of facing Alex there was Jake instead. "Oh Jake?" I asked.

"Someone is in a bad mood." He chuckled as he looked towards me. "Alex just told me to tell you that people were complaining because you made to much noise."  I just nodded before closing the door and walking towards the pool with Jake.

"Hey." I greeted Larissa as i went to sit on a sun bed. She greeted me back with a smile and then she waved at Jake. Well they seem to be getting along. Jake puts his towel on a sun-bed and immediately jumped inside of the pool. "Come Kevin , the water is great." Jake said as he started swimming.

I shook my head. "I don't swim in pools." I said as he wore some sunglasses and started laying with my back enjoying the way the sun was hitting my body. "Hey there." I heard an all to familiar voice some minutes after i was enjoying the sun.

I looked up and saw Archie standing in front of me. I gave him a big smile. "Hey Archie." He putted his stuff on the sun-bed next to mine and then looked back at me. "Wanna swim?" He asked giving me one of his gorgeous smiles. "Sure." I said standing up.

We both where standing at the edge of the pool now. "Okay im going go count till three and then we will both jump inside okay?" He asked. I nodded and them looked towards the pool.

Jake was looking confused when he saw that i was ready to jump in the pool. "One, two, three!" And with the three i jumped into the pool. I chuckled a little and then looked beside me just to realize that Archie didn't jump at all.

Archie started laughing. "Gotcha again" he said and with that he jumped into the pool making sure a big amount of water fell right in my face.

"I don't swim in pools" Jake whispers in my ear which made jump. When did he get next to me? Jake smirked a little before walking over to Archie that was rubbing his eyes. "Hi Archie, Im Jake." Jake handed his hand to Archie.

Archie shook his hand while looking confused "do I know you?" I got a little déjà vu watching that. Jake shook his head. "No you don't. But Kevin has told me a lot about you." Archie looked at me and smiled. "He did huh?"

Jake nodded and smiled. He excused himself and went to talk with Larissa. "Kevin Keller." I heard Antonio his voice as i was walking towards Archie. I instantly froze as i watched Archie his face expression change.

"A letter from Betty Cooper arrived this morning for you." My heart started beating faster. Couldn't this get any worse. "Kevin ?" Antonio asked as i didn't give him any answer.
"Did he just call you Kevin Keller?" Archie asked. "Betty Cooper... You are the sheriff his son?" Archie asked again looking upset.

"Oh my god." Behind Archie suddenly Jake fell on the ground which made everyone turn around so i took the change and got out of the pool and started running away from the hotel as fast as i could, tears started falling out of my eyes.

Archie Andrews

Kevin Keller ? His last name was Keller? And then he said Betty Cooper. She was my neighbor. Kevin was the sheriff his son the whole time? I knew the sheriff had a son but he never really mentioned his name and every time he and my dad were talking his son was busy.

"Betty Cooper... You are the sheriff his son?"

I looked at Kevin that was standing frozen across me. Why did he say he didn't know me? So many questions were going through my mind right now. Thats why Kevin looked familiar! Now that i gave Kevin a better look i could recognize from where I remembered him.

It was evening and i had just finished football practice and as i was leaving the field i saw two boys making out behind the bleachers. Kevin was the boy that was pushed against the bleachers as the other boy was kissing his neck hungrily.

"Oh my god!" I heard a loud voice behind me. I turned around confused and saw that Jake had Fainted? Antonio run towards Jake and got on his knees. "Boy are you okay?" He asked. Meanwhile the pool girl started laughing which made me and Antonio look confused towards her. Then Jake sat up. "Come on , your ruined it!"

It was a distraction! When i turned around Kevin wasn't across me anymore. "Kevin? Kevin!" I yelled as i got out of the pool. There is only one place where Kevin must have gone too...

Kevin Keller
Tears kept falling out of my eyes as i looked towards the sea. I ruined everything. If I didn't lie in the first place this wouldn't have happened. Couldn't Antonio just wait with that stupid letter.

There were slowly more clouds gathering around in the sky which was a little unusual since till now there weren't any clouds in the sky.

"Kevin!" I heard Archie his voice from far away. I stood up but didn't turn around. "Kevin look at me." Archie his voice was closer now. I took a deep breath whipping my tears away before looking back at him.
"I'm sorry." I said.

Archie stayed silent for a little and just stared ar me. "Why did you lie to me?" Was the first thing Archie asked.

"I panicked..." Archie walked closer to me. I could see his feet as i was looking to the ground.

I looked up and looked right inside the ginger boy his eyes. "You are one of the most popular and most gorgeous boys from our school and when i saw you the first day at the beach it was so unexpected. I was ashamed because I knew that you didn't have any idea who i was meanwhile i knew everything about you..." halfway through me explaining myself it started raining as me and him were standing there at the rocks of love.

"Thats why i said that i just guessed your name. Because I thought that you would find me weird if i told you that i knew you while you didn't." I looked away. "I got nervous and just messed things up. I always mess things up. Hell i even messed up my relationship for you." I covered my mouth when i said that.

I shouldn't have said that. I saw Archie that looked a little surprised. He got a little closer and grabbed my hand pulling it away from my mouth slowly. He looked into my eyes for some minutes as it started raining harder making us both fully wet. "Archie?"

Thats when the ginger boy leaned in and started kissing me right there in the middle of the Rocks of love.
