Welcome to Clan Village's third update!

This is mainly a combat update, though we've added many exciting things to the game...

-when an animal/s attacks your Clan, it no longer has a random level - instead, its level will be the average of your Clan's fightskill but also with the possibility to go up or down by one level. (e.g. level 4 average fightskill for a Clan = attacker will be level 3-5)

-remember how enemy animals always had 100 health? Well, now your cats do too! Different injuries cause different amounts of health to be lost, and every moon that a cat is injured, he'll lose more health. The HP is now displayed on every cat's profile, in the place where it says their injuries, hunger, etc. Here's a chart that helps explain this part of the update - it'll be added to the Commands & Charts chapter for reference!

(FORMAT: Injury - health lost each moon)

Minor Body Wound - 10
Minor Chest Sickness - 10
Minor Bone Breakage - 10

Medium Body Wound - 20
Medium Chest Sickness - 20
Medium Bone Breakage - 20

Major Body Wound - 30
Major Chest Sickness - 30
Major Bone Breakage - 30

-the medicine cat system has been revamped! everything has been changed; now, health points are all that really matter in healing. your medicine cat's skill level determines how well they heal a cat, and when they heal they raise the cat's health points. it's vital that your medicine cat's healskill is high enough to beat the amount of health lost each moon, or the cat will die. Here's a chart showing the new healskill stuff:

(FORMAT: Level Number: health gained during heal activity)

Level 0: 0

Level 1: 5

Level 2: 10

Level 3: 15

Level 4: 20

Level 5: 30

Level 6: 40

This means that a maxed out medicine cat can heal a Major Bone Breakage in 3 moons, because they'll lose 30 health a moon but will be healed once every moon, gaining 40 health.

-there is now a random chance of death with injuries! while minor injuries cannot cause this, anything worse can be fatal. Here's a chart of the chances:

(FORMAT: Injury type - chance of death)

Medium Body Wound: 20%
Medium Chest Sickness: 20%
Medium Bone Breakage: 10%

Major Body Wound: 40%
Major Chest Sickness: 40%
Major Bone Breakage: 20%

While this does make injuries more deadly, it's more realistic as random death can occur, even with injuries that don't always seem fatal.

-We have an exciting new feature called Clan Goals! Using the command /set Clan goal (insert personal Clan Village goal here) you can set a goal for your Clan. This will be listed on your page, and when you achieve it it will say so in the Clan News.

As of right now, this will not yield rewards as people may try to use it to get more things (e.g. by setting a very easy goal in order to get prizes that they didn't earn) but this may change in the future. These goals are just for fun - they can be anything, from getting a certain number of cats to having the biggest herb supply of all the Clans. They can't be something you already have, though, or something that you are very close to achieving. You can have a maximum of three active goals, and completed past goals will be listed on your page.

A new tab has been added on your page, labeled 'Goals: None'. When you start Clan goals, they'll appear here!

-You can now change your Clan's name! For a price of three berries, you can purchase a name change in the shop. Just specify what you'd like the new name to be in the comments of StarClan's Den, and your name will be changed!

-It is no longer required to write the name of the cat sending the commands in brackets. As everyone only used their leader anyway, it is now immediately assumed you are using them since you are the leader and impossible to use any other cat.

That's all for this update! Hopefully it makes the game more fun to play for everyone and also more developed. Have a good day, and happy playing!
