Charlies POV
I just got off the plane. I'm finally back in L.A after 5 years because of my selfish father. I catch an uber and make my way back to the place I once called home.
------------ Time skip---------
Here I am let's get this shit over with. I walk to the front door and knocked and moments later it swung open and I was face to face with my mother.
Janet: Oh my god your here
Charlie: Hi mom
she started crying as she pulled me into her arms.
Janet: I missed you so much
Charlie: I know you did and I know there was nothing you could do to stop him but I'm here now and I'm not leaving you
Janet: Come on let's go inside your brother will be so happy
I doubt it but would never say it in front of her She grabbed my suitcase and rolled it in as I walked ahead of her
Janet: Are you hungry
Charlie: Mom you know I'm always hungry
She let out a small laugh
Janet: Good cause I think I made too much food today
We walked into the dining room and I saw my dad sitting across from my brother the air thick with tension.
Victor: Your here
Charlie: Yes I am here victor
Victor: How was the school in Spain
Charlie: Great no thanks to you I had the highest marks and I was captain of the wrestling team not that you would know that you sent me away for what you said was my own good and yet you didn't even bother to show up to my graduation
Victor: Why would I
Charlie: At this point, I don't know and care you are not a Father to me I came back for one reason and that was mom cause I know I am nothing but a disappointment to you
Janet: Charlie why don't you take chase to school while I talk to his father
Charlie: Anything for you mom I will come back later to take you out
I got up and gave her a kiss on the cheek before grabbing my backpack that had all of my necessary things in it and walked to the garage and opened it to see my car and motorcycle I walked to the car and unlocked it and waited for Chase to get in before starting the car up and following the GPS to his school.
Chase: Why must you fight with him
Charlie: I'm not you, little brother I'm not gonna take his shit like you I had a life that was ripped away from me when I was 13 believe it or not he goes easy on you. You're the perfect child you were born normal he can shape you in his image most people don't even know I'm his kid beside you and the other pride kids. Speaking of which how are the other kids of pride.
