Tina Minoru

This takes place in episode 3 of season 1 after Robert leaves Tina in the restaurant. Your name is Takahashi

Tina's POV

After Robert left I sat there for a moment before the chair in front of me became occupied.

???: Bad date

Tina: You can say that

???: Well He's an idiot you are beautiful and by the looks of it you hold your self in high esteem so you must be smart as well.  

Tina: Thanks I'm Tina Minoru

Takahashi: HI I'm Takahashi Okaru 

Tina: Aren't you the CEO and Founder of Echo Technologies

Takahashi: Yes you are smart. So why the bad date. To me a strong woman like yourself wouldn't let herself be humiliated by a man like that.

Tina: Yeah sadly he is my husband

Takahashi: Oh 

Tina: Yeah this was support to be a way for me to try and rekindle our romance I haven't been the best since my daughter died.

Takahashi: And you let him storm out on you like that. He doesn't seem like such a good husband.

Tina: I stay with him for our other daughter Nico. she loves him and I feel like she has started to resent me.

Takahashi: I don't think she hates you if you were both close to your other daughter she's heartbroken and your ways of grieving may not agree with each other. My advice doesn't let this death tear you apart let it bring you together grief together.

Tina: Your right I'm her mother and if I let my feeling break me who's gonna be strong for her. 

Takahashi: You should know it's ok for you to be weak to you just need to find the right person to be weak around. 

Tina: Thank you I should probably go now it's getting late and I have to call for a car.

I get up and grab my things ready to pay when she stops me.

Takahashi: How about I give you a ride home I'll pay too

Tina: You don't have to 

Takahashi: It's fine it's been a long day for you its the least I can do really.

Tina: Ok

She flagged the waitress down and asked for the check she paid and then lead me outside with a hand on my waist at the valet brought her car around. 

She opened the door for me then closed it when I was inside and went around and got inside the driver seat. And started driving after I gave her the address.

Takahashi: Is there anything you want to do before I drop you off

Tina: Yes can we stop at Yum's Ice cream so I can get something for Nico

Takahashi: Sure

We stopped by the ice cream place and I made my way to the shop and I got cold when I felt the cold air from the stop. Takahashi noticed and took her suit jacket off and put it on my shoulders.

Tina: Thank you

I got a matcha ice cream and a chocolate ice cream to go for Nico and she insisted on paying, leaving me with no room to argue otherwise. The ride home was quiet with me eating my ice cream. We got to my house 5 minutes later and she pulled up to the curb.

Tina: Thank you so much for everything

Takahashi: It's the least I could do Tina you deserve to be happy.

I gave her a hug and made to take off her jacket to give it back but she stopped me from doing so.

Takahashi: It's ok you can keep it. Tina, I know you're married but you are an amazing woman and I would like to get to know you better if that's ok.

Tina: I would like that.

I gave her my number and gave her a kiss on the cheek before grabbing my things and stepping out of the car and waved goodbye as she drove away. I went inside the house and saw Nico sitting on the couch watching TV.

Nico: Hey mom where's dad.

Tina: I have an idea but he left me at the restaurant I stopped and got you some ice cream

Nico: Who with that jacket is not yours

Tina: No it's not it's a friend

Nico: Alright can I have the ice cream

Tina: sure

I went to the kitchen and grabbed a spoon and made my way back to the couch handing her the pint before sitting down and taking off my heels

Tina: Nico I'm sorry. I know I've been hard on you ever since Amy died I'm not good with expressing my feeling so instead I become hard and cold and I'm sorry 

Nico: What changed

Tina: Someone told me that we are both grieving in different ways and we need to be strong for each other

Nico: What a wise friend you have

Tina: Yeah she really is

Nico: Do you like her

Tina: Maybe is that ok

Nico: Yeah but what about dad

Tina: Your dad has not been happy with me since Amy died I shut him out in my grief and I know he has been cheating on me.

Nico: I'm sorry mom

Tina: It's ok I want to make thing right between us if that's fine with you

Nico: I would love too

Tina: Great

Nico: Is that where he is now with his mistress he thinks you know nothing about.

Tina: Yeah but I'll be ok

I gave her a hug before standing up to go to sleep I passed by Amy's room and went in I laid down on her bed and fell asleep.

---------------------- Time skip to morning--------------------

I was drinking my morning tea when I saw Robert come down from upstairs.

Robert: You weren't in our room last night

Tina: No I wasn't because it not our room anymore its mine

Robert: What do you mean

Tina: I want a divorce you can move into that apartment that you have for you and that woman you've been seeing

Robert: You knew

Tina: I did and I am not going to be some sad sap trying to keep things up for Nico she knows and I am trying to make things better between me and her and I need to start by getting rid of things that bring me no joy so I want all your stuff out by tomorrow night.

I walked past him and went upstairs and went to Nico's room and knocked

Tina: Hey you want a ride to school 

Nico: Yeah sure

I walked into my office to see a bouquet of flowers with a card.
