Chapter 19

Veronica jumped up and yelled "You're still in love with Archie I know it!"-V

Peter walked in a few seconds before Veronica had said those words. Betty had no idea. Veronica knew, she knew exactly what she was doing.

"The way you look at him. Your in love.. How could you tell my secrets when I know all of yours too. You love Archie, and your just a little nerd, your so perfect. Perfect! And you can't even come close to a boy like Archie. He was friends with you out of pity. He thought you were weird. But you love him. You just date peter just to cover up your LIES"-V

Betty scoffed. Peter looked at the two longingly and hurt. "Are these things true" peter thought to himself.

"Oh Veronica. You have no idea. I am so far from perfect it's funny you even think that. And the Archie thing. No no.. no. I.. I love Peter. I am so over Archie. Peter is the best person that could've came into my life. Plus who are you to say who I like and who I don't.. I mean didn't you like me for a while?"-B

Veronica looked down at the floor. "Betty.."-V "You don't want to talk about that? Hmm how about... Oh! On the topic of love, your parents they don't love each other, maybe that's where your get the heartlessness from."-B

Veronica was still looking down at the floor. But then the teacher walked in. Everyone sat down.

It was silent reading. Peter wrote on a piece of paper.

A little later peter wrote again

Betty looked up at the teacher then back down at her book.

Peter sighed since he didn't want to read. He raised his hand "Ma'am. Why do we have to read the math textbook?"-P "I am grading papers right now. The whole class can do a worksheet if you wanted"-Teacher

The glasses groaned and moaned "No" everyone said

Betty looked over at Peter. She giggled. Peter looked at her then they both started laughing. Betty covered her mouth. She coughed to cover up her laugh.

The class ended. The day went by quick.

Peter had been told he had to go to the bathroom. Happy was there waiting for him

They talked and he was told Tony wanted to see him. They went to stark industries building. Tony had offered him his suit back. Peter said no. Then he thought I was a test, it wasn't but Tony went along with it.

Peter got home to go get ready for his date with Betty. He saw a brown bag on his bed. He opened it up and inside was his Spider-Man suit.

Just then he had gotten a message from Betty "Can we postpone our date i actually forgot i was going to speak at the townhall tonight"-B "Thats fine. We can have a breakfast date"-P

Betty went and changed to go to speak. Her dad had showed up to this, he never showed up to anything.

Betty stood in front of the podium. She had been talking for awhile. Peter walked in. Betty paused, she looked at him. "And most of all.. Riverdale is peter Parker"-B

Peter had no idea what Betty was talking about but he felt touched she had spoke about him. Peter had to go before her speech needed.

Betty got done with her speech and went back home. Peter  wasn't tired and wanted to chat with Betty. He saw her get into her room. Peter snuck out and went into her room. "oh hey"-B "Hi. How'd it go? Sorry I had to leave May needed me"-P "I think it went well and it's totally fine"-B

She sat down next to peter and cupped his face. She kissed him passionately which became a makeout. It might've become more but Alice, Betty's mom walked in. She told Betty she had to be asleep by 12. Since tomorrow was Saturday she could stay up late.

Peter and Betty just decided to talk all night until he had to go.

It was the morning. Betty took down her hair and brushed it out. She put on a little bit of makeup. She curled her hair then brushed out the curls. She put on a cute outfit. Then put some stuff into a small bag then went downstairs.

"Where are you going..?"-A "On a date"-B "With peter?"-A "Yup.."-B

Betty our her hand on the doorknob "Have fun. Be safe. Call me if you need something"-A

Betty took her hand off the doorknob and looked at Alice "Wait.. You're not going to yell at me?"-B "I've been thinking.. And I've been treating you like your sister, when you are completely innocent. But I have to let you be a teenager sometime"-A

Betty smiled "love you mom"-B

Someone knocked on the door. Betty opened and Peter was there. "Morning"-P

They both walked out and got into Mays car. "Hi Betty"-M "Hi"-B "You look really nice"-M "Thank you!"-B

May drove to Pops Diner. They both got out and went inside. Peter sat down and Betty sat across from him.
